30 Days 30 Grades: Day 27 San Antonio Spurs Off-Season Grade

Welcome to day 27 of my 30 day blog series titled "30 Days 30 Grades".  Today I am going to talk about 2014 NBA Champions San Antonio Spurs, and their off-season.  Here are the four things I"m going to do in this blog, 1) Give my off-season grade, 2) Give a list of Spurs players added to the roster whether it be through the draft, free agency, trade, claimed off of waivers etc, 3) Give a list of players subtracted from the Spurs roster, and finally 4) Give the reason or reasons why I gave the Spurs the off-season grade I gave them.




San Antonio Spurs Off-Season Grade:  A+




San Antonio Spurs Players Added:  Kyle Anderson, Nemanja Dangubic, Bryce Cotton, Jamychal Green

San Antonio Spurs Players Subtracted:  None

Why did I give the San Antonio Spurs such a high grade of an A plus?  I believe that they drafting a player who fits perfect with their system.  The player I am talking about is 2014 NBA Draft 30th pick 6 foot 9 small forward Kyle Anderson. Anderson is a small forward who has the handle of a point guard.  Kyle Anderson is a point forward.  Add Anderson to another forward who handles well in Boris Diaw and the unselfishness of the San Antonio Spurs continues.   I don't know anything about Nemanja Dangubic, Bryce Cotton or Jamychal Green. So if you have any knowledge you know about those players send me comments, and how you think they will fit into the Spurs system.  Do you think the Spurs will repeat as NBA champions?  I think they have such a great shot.  I really thought that Kyle Anderson was going to be taken earlier than 30.  The Spurs to me got a steal with Kyle Anderson at 30.  Do you agree with my off-season report card grade I gave the San Antonio Spurs?  Why or why not?  Send me your comments.
