James Harden MVP? Harden's near triple-double leads Rockets to win over Thunder

Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden is having an MVP season.  Harden is currently leading the league in scoring at 27 points per game.  Tonight the Houston Rockets went up against  Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder in Houston at the Toyota Center.  The Houston Rockets defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 112 to 101.  James Harden lead the way with a near triple double.  Harden scored 31 points, 10 assists, 9 rebounds,  9 of 15 from the field.  Trevor Ariza scored 17 points, 4 assists, 4 steals, 2 rebounds on 6 of 15 shooting.  7 foot power forward Donatas Motiejunas scored 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, on 6 of 12 shooting.  Dwight Howard added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals.   Josh Smith scored 13 points and 7 rebounds off the bench.

The Houston Rockets are currently sitting in the 4th seed in the Western Conference, and they trail the best Western Conference NBA team Golden State Warriors by 5 games.  Can the Houston Rockets win a title?  I think only if Dwight Howard can be dominate in the post, and demand the ball a little more.   I like the upgrades to their bench though with adding Corey Brewer and Josh Smith.

For the Oklahoma City Thunder Kevin Durant lead the way in scoring for the Thunder with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Durant shot 8 of 12 from the field.  Explosive athletic point guard Russell Westbrook scored 16 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds.  Reggie Jackson scored 16 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds off the bench. Two guard Dion Waiters scored 16 points, 2 assists and 2 blocks off the bench.  Serge Ibaka added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

Good defensive game helps Rockets defeat Thunder

Seeing the final score of this game reminds me of when I watch the team I am the GM of in NBA 2K. Low scoring games and great defense. This game was like many of the scores I've had as the GM of the Orlando Magic in 2K14. Well tonight the Houston Rockets defeat the Westbrook-Durantless OKC Thunder 69-65. James Harden lead the way for the Rockets with 19 points. Here are the top stats for each team.

Top 5 Houston Rockets Scorers

James Harden- 19 points, 9 rebounds,  5 assists, 5/17 FG, 2/9 3PTFG, 7/8 FT
Dwight Howard- 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4/14 FG, 4/13 FT
Patrick Beverley- 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, 4/10 FG, 2/8 3PTFG, 2/2 FT
Trevor Ariza- 11 points, 4 rebounds, 4/11 FG, 2/4 FT, 1/4 3PTFG
Donatas Motiejunas- 7 points, 9 rebounds,  3/9 FG, 1/2 FT, 0/2 3PTFG

Top 5 Oklahoma City Thunder Scorers

Reggie Jackson- 15 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 3/11 FG,  9/9 FT,  0/3 3PTFG
Lance Thomas- 15 points, 2 assists, 4/11 FG, 7/8 FT

Jeremy Lamb- 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 2/5 FG, 1/4 3PTFG

Houston Rockets Thoughts

1. Four of their five starters did a great job in crashing the glass in this low offensive game.  4 of the starters had an least 8+ rebounds.
2. If it wasn't for defense, the Rockets wouldn't have won this game, because the offense was just terrible.
3. Shooting 28.7 percent from the field is awful.
4. I really underestimated this team in the off-season.  I didn't think they would jump off to a 9-1 start.
5. The absence of Chandler Parsons and replacing him with Trevor Ariza has improved this team defensively.  According to Yahoo Sports there may be a possibly that they might try and trade for Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Corey Brewer.  If they get Brewer the Rockets are going to be even more fun to watch.

Oklahoma City Thunder Thoughts

1. The Thunder are off to a horrible 3-8 start.   Injuries to Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Mitch McGary, Perry Jones are killing this team.  Once everyone is back, I can see this team fighting back.
2. Shooting 29.4 percent is better than what the Rockets did, but still this team has little identity without Westbrook and or Durant.

Final Thoughts

Great defensive game from both teams, but the Rockets pulled it out. Congratulations to the Houston Rockets on their 9-1 start.  Can the Rockets keep this going? Do you think they will win the title this year?  Who knows? Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. Houston Rockets Thoughts

1. So far the Rockets have played the Lakers and the Jazz. The Rockets are 2-0. Can they keep this winning going?  The next game the Rockets play is against the Celtics. I feel they will go 3-0.
2. Dwight Howard shot great from the field.  Howard to me is the best big man in the NBA.  Would you agree?
3. Trevor Ariza is showing me to be the third option, replacing Chandler Parsons who signed with Dallas Mavericks.
4. The Southwest Division is tough.  Could all 5 teams ( Spurs, Mavs, Grizzlies, Rockets and Pelicans make the playoffs).  I think this is the best division in the Western Conference.
5. James Harden didn't shoot goodm but his 10 assists and 7 rebounds to go with his 18 points is impressive

Utah Jazz Thoughts

1. Rookie combo guard Dante Exum only scored 5 points on 2 of 3 shooting, in 9 minutes and 37 seconds of playing time.

2. Rookie small forward Rodney Hood played 21 minutes and 11 seconds. Hood scored 5 points, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks and shot 2 of 6 from the field.  Not great numbers, but I feel that Hood will get better.

3. I still believe the Jazz will finish the worst team in the Western Conference.  Do you agree?

4. Gordon Hayward has to step up and show that he is worth his big contract. Hayward only scored 8 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists on 3 of 11 shooting.  I feel that Hayward has to be the man for the Jazz team.

5. Who is considered the man for this team?

What are your thoughts about this game?  Do you think the Rockets will make the playoffs?  Send me your thoughts.  Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. The place where you can read articles, send comments and purchase pro basketball merchandise.

James Harden scores 37: Harden achieves a double-double to lead Rockets over Cavaliers

Where would you list James Harden on the current list of NBA shooting guards? Top 10? Top 5? Top3? I think the two bearded guard is at least a top 5 two guard in the NBA. Last night James Harden achieved a double-double to help the Houston Rockets to victory. The Houston Rockets defeated the Eastern Conference Central Division Cleveland Cavaliers 118-111. Harden lead the way with 37 points, 11 assists, 4 steals and 3 rebounds. Chandler Parsons scored 16 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. Patrick Beverley scored 15 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Combo forward Terrence Jones scored 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 assists. Jeremy Lin added 13 points and 6 rebounds off the bench. The Houston Rockets improved to 47-22. It is looking like that possibly the Rockets will have home field advantage in the first round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs so far. For the Cleveland Cavaliers, shooting guard Dion Waiters lead the way with 26 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds. Tyler Zeller scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Matthew DellaVedova scored 14 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds. Anderson Varejao added a double-double. Varejao scored 12 points and 11 rebounds. Jarrett Jack added 11 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. The Cleveland Cavaliers dropped to 26-44. How disappointed are you with the Cleveland Cavaliers this season? I thought they would be better than this. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. The place where you can read articles, send comments and purchase pro basketball merchandise.

James Harden scores 28 : 7 footer Donatas Motiejunas adds 20 to lead Rockets to win over Timberwolves

The Houston Rockets are an exciting and entertaining Western Conference basketball team. Houston currently are 46-22 and in the 4th seed trailing the San Antonio Spurs by 5 1/2 games for the top seed. James Harden is to me a top 5 shooting guard in the NBA. Last night the Houston Rockets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 129-106. Two guard James Harden lead the way with 28 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds. Seven footer power forward Donatas Motiejunas scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and shot 9 of 11 in 25 minutes of action. Small forward Chandler Parsons scored 19 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Patrick Beverley scored 14 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Center Omar Asik who is playing in place of injured Dwight Howard, scored 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 assists. Omar Asik is a top 15 starting NBA center in the NBA I believe. Jeremy Lin added 11 points, 10 assists and 3 rebounds. How impressed were you with James Harden's 28 point game? What did you think of Motiejunas adding 20 points? How far will the Rockets go in the 2014 NBA playoffs? I encourage you to send me your comments on this. For the Minnesota Timberwolves, All-Star power forward Kevin Love lead the way with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. Rookie center Gorgui Dieng had a career high in rebounds. Dieng scored 22 points, 21 rebounds, 4 assists and shot 10 of 11 from the free throw line. Luc Mbah A Moute scored 11 points, 3 rebounds, had 5 of 7 shooting in 24 minutes and 35 seconds of playing time. Chase Budinger added 11 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Do you think the Timberwolves will make the playoffs? Who would you like to see the Minnesota Timberwolves draft in the 2014 NBA Draft? I encourage you to send me your comments on this. Terrence Jones scores 30 to lead Rockets to win over Jazz

I think Terrence Jones is an amazing combo forward in the NBA. I think he is underrated to an extreme. He gets the job done on the offensive end as well as the defensive end. Last night the Houston Rockets defeated the Utah Jazz 124-86. Terrence Jones lead the way for Houston with 30 points, 5 rebounds, 4 blocks, shot 11 of 15 from the field and 3 of 4 from three point land. Patrick Beverley scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Jeremy Lin scored 17 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. James Harden added 15 points, 5 assists and had 5 of 10 shooting. Jordan Hamilton added 15 points and 4 rebounds in 19 minutes of playing time. For the Utah Jazz Derrick Favors and Alec Burks lead the way with 15 points. Favors scored 15 points and 4 rebounds. Burks scored 15 points and had 2 assists. Gordon Hayward scored 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals. Rookie point guard out of the University of Michigan Trey Burke added 10 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds. What do you think of the Houston Rockets season so far? Is Terrence Jones underrated? How far will the Rockets blast off in the playoffs? I admit I couldn't resist the joke there. What player should the Utah Jazz draft in the 2014 NBA Draft? Send me your thoughts on this. Houston Rockets win over Orlando Magic behind James Harden's 31 points

I think James Harden is a top three shooting guard currently in the NBA. I would have Kobe and Wade ranked above him. James Harden scored 31 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds and shot 11 of 19 from the field. The Houston Rockets defeated the Orlando Magic 101-89. Dwight Howard achieved another double-double. Howard scored 19 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Underrated small forward Chandler Parsons scored 19 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Terrence Jones for the second straight game also had a double-double. Jones scored 17 points, 11 rebounds and blocked 2 shots. I am impressed with the play of the Houston Rockets lately. They have are 13-2 in their last 15 games. The Rockets are currently 42-19 with 21 games left in the season. Do you believe that the Rockets will go to the NBA Finals against the Heat or the Pacers? If not Houston what team do you think in the Western Conference? For the Orlando Magic Arron Afflalo lead the way with 18 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds and shot 50 percent in the game (8-16 Field). Nikola Vucevic achieved a double-double. Vucevic scored 15 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and shot 7 of 9 from the field. Maurice Harkless scored 15 points, 5 steals and shot 60 percent. Tobias Harris added 10 points and 5 rebounds. Who would you like to see the Orlando Magic draft with their more than likely two lottery picks? (I'm for them drafting small forward Jabari Parker out of Duke, and point guard Tyler Ennis out of Syracuse. ) What do you think? Send me your thoughts about the Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic or any other NBA Team. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.

Howard and Harden both have double-double to lead Rockets to win over Heat

I think the Houston Rockets are an exciting basketball team to watch. They are coached by one of my favorite players when I first started watching basketball Kevin McHale. I would love to meet coach McHale, practice with them and have them teach me some basketball drills. Last night Dwight Howard and James Harden both achieved a double-double against the Miami Heat. The Houston Rockets defeated the Miami Heat 106-103. Dwight Howard scored 22 points and pulled down 16 rebounds. James Harden scored 21 points, 11 assists and 4 rebounds. Terrence Jones also achieved a double-double as well. Jones scored 19 points and had 12 rebounds. Point guard Patrick Beverley added 19 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds. Chandler Parsons scored 10 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds. Do you think the Houston Rockets will go to the NBA Finals? People talk about the Thunder and the Spurs, why not the Rockets as well as a possibly? How impressed are you with the Rockets this season? For the Miami Heat Dwyane Wade and Michael Beasley both lead the way with 24 points. Wade scored 24 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Michael Beasley scored 24 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, shot 9 of 13 from the field, 4 of 7 from three point land in 28 minutes off the bench. Lebron James scored 22 points, 6 assists, 3 steals and shot 9 of 18. Ray Allen added 13 points, 4 rebounds and shot 2 of 5 from downtown. Will Lebron win the MVP? Will Heat 3-peat? What do you think about this? Send me your comments. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.

James Harden hits game winner to help Rockets defeat Wizards and win 7th straight game

The Houston Rockets are heading into the All-Star Break playing incredible basketball. The Rockets won their 7th straight game last night by defeating the Washington Wizards 113-112. James Harden hit a game winning basketball to help the cause. Harden the two bearded shooting guard, scored 35 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Harden shot 8 of 14 from the field. Dwight Howard scored 24 points, 16 rebounds and 3 blocks. Chandler Parsons who is one of the most underrated small forwards, scored 18 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Jeremy Lin added 16 points and 5 assists. The Houston Rockets go into the All-Star Break with a 36-17 record, and are 3rd seed in the Western Conference. How impressed are you with the Houston Rockets this season? For the Washington Wizards. Trevor Ariza lead Wizards scorers with 32 points. Ariza also added 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Nene scored 21 points and shot 9 of 12. Bradley Beal scored 20 points, 5 assists and 2 steals. Beal shot 4 out of 10 from downtown. John Wall scored 19 points, 14 assists and 3 steals. The Wizards currently sit in the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference at 25-27. Do you think that Wall and Beal are the best backcourt duo in the NBA? Tell me your thoughts on this. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.

Dwight's double-double lead Rockets to 5th straight win

The Houston Rockets are one of the most exciting teams in the Western Conference. I am impressed with Dwight Howard. I think working with Hakeem the dream Olajuwon has helped Dwight a lot. The Houston Rockets defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 101-95. Dwight Howard scored 27 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks and shot 5 of 7 from the free throw line. I have felt for a long time Howard needed to work on his free throw shooting. The two bearded guard James Harden, scored 22 points and 3 assists. Jeremy Lin added 18 points and 4 assists off the bench. Patrick Beverley scored 15 points and dished out 3 assists. What do you think of the Rockets chances of going to the 2014 NBA Finals? Do you think Howard is improving? For the Milwaukee Bucks, Brandon Knight lead the way with 23 points and 5 assists. Knight shot 10 of 20 form the field. Khris Middleton scored 20 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds. Rookie Nate Wolters added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. John Henson scored 14 points, 10 rebounds and had 4 blocked shots. Do you think the Bucks will get the 1st pick in the 2014 NBA Draft? Who should they take? I want to hear from you. What did you think about this game? Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. Parsons and Howard's double-double lead Rockets to win over Blazers

How many of you last night watched the Trailblazers VS Rockets on TNT? I did. I enjoyed the game. Chandler Parsons was playing incredible. Dwight Howard reminded me of his days with the Magic last night. The Houston Rockets last night defeated the Portland Trailblazes 126-113. Parsons lead the way with 31 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks, shot 12 of 19 from the field, and shot 3 of 5 from three point range. Dwight Howard scored 24 points and 12 rebounds. Howard actually shot solid from the free throw line by making six out of nine free throw attempts. If Dwight keeps working on his free throw attempts teams will be scared to do hack-a-howard, or hack-a-dwight, or whatever you want to call it. The two bearded guard, James Harden added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Patrick Beverley scored 17 points and 3 assists. Houston Rockets scored a season high 126 points. I was very impressed on the offensive end with the Rockets. For the Portland Traiblazers, power forward LaMarcus Aldridge had a 20-20 night. Alridge scored 27 points and pulled down 20 rebounds. Second year point guard, and last years rookie of the year Damian Lillard, scored 24 points and 5 assists. Wesley Matthews added 18 points. Matthews struggled from downtown only hitting 2 out of 9 from three point land. The Rockets with the win improved to 28-15, while the Blazers drop to 31-10. This game was exciting to watch. What did you think of Parson's game? How did Dwight Howard do in your opinion? How impressive was Aldridge's performance? I think Portland shouldn't have tried to double-team Howard because it left shooters wide open. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops land. Send me your thoughts on this game or anything you'd love to see on this blog.

Harden and Howard lead the way for the Rockets over the Wizards

I love the combo of James Harden and Dwight Howard for the Houston Rockets. IF I were to go further I love the trio of Harden, Howard and Chandler Parsons. James Harden scored 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Dwight Howard scored 23 points and 7 rebounds on 10 of 17 from the field. The Houston Rockets defeated the Washington Wizards 114-107. Terrence Jones is the perfect stretch 4 to have on the floor for the Western Conference Houston Rockets. Jones achieved double-double status by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds. Terrence Jones also had 3 blocks in the game. Point guard Jeremy Lin added 18 points and 8 assists. I think the Rockets should trade Omar Asik to the New Orleans Pelicans for Ryan Anderson. Ryan Anderson would be a great stretch four to come off the bench for the Rockets. For the Washington Wizards, John Wall and Trevor Ariza both lead the way with 23 points. Wall added 10 assists. Trevor Ariza added 14 rebounds and 5 steals. Bradley Beal added 13 points. What do you think of the Houston Rockets? Do you think they will make it to the NBA Finals? If not what do they need to add to get to the NBA Finals? What do you think of the Washington Wizards? Send me your thoughts on this. Stayed tuned for updates on something I will have on this blog for the Rockets, Wizards and all of the other 28 NBA teams. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.

The Ten Teams of Christmas: The battle of two Texas NBA teams Rockets VS Spurs

This game was a lot of fun to watch. I seen a lot of quick pace up and down the court. Last night on ESPN was the battle between the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs. The Houston Rockets won 111-98 over the San Antonio Spurs. James Harden lead the way for the Rockets with 28 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds. Chandler Parsons was ballin with 21 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 of 9 from three point range. Terrence Jones is the stretch four that the Rockets needed. Jones scored a double-double. Terrence Jones scored 21 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks. Dwight Howard also achieved double-double status. Dwight scored 15 points, 20 rebounds and had 2 blocks. For the San Antonio Spurs, Manu Ginobili scored 22 points on 8 of 17 shooting. Kawhi Leonard scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Tim Duncan added 11 points, 14 rebounds, 6 blocks and 5 assists. What did you think of this game? What player should the Rockets get by trading Asik? Will the Rockets be in the NBA finals this season? Tell me your thoughts on this. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. Stay tuned for more updates on this blog.

The Harden and Howard combo proves great against the Magic

James Harden and Dwight Howard have got to be one of the best shooting guard to center combo in the NBA. Yesterday against the Orlando Magic it did prove to be the case. The two guard bearded stud James Harden scored 27 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. Dwight Howard scored 20 points, 22 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 assists. The Houston Rockets defeated the Orlando Magic 98-88. Chandler Parsons scored 18 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Terrence Jones added 16 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks for the Rockets who improve to 15-7. For the Orlando Magic Glen Big Baby Davis scored 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Arron Afflalo scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Jameer Nelson added 15 points, 4 assists and 3 steals. Rookie Victor Oladipo only had 8 points and 3 rebounds, in over 32 minutes of action. The loss for the Magic drop their record to 6-14. Tell me Rocket fans what did you think of this game for Harden and Howard? What did you think of Terrence Jones and his 5 blocked shots? Magic fans if this team keeps losing, the positive thing is that they could land Wiggins, Parker, Randle, Smart or Exum. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. I encourage you to take a look around the blog, send me your comments on this post or any other post. I appreciate you reading this blog.

Harden and Howard combo defeat the Trailblazers

The Houston Rockets are an interesting and exciting basketball team. Last year they got James Harden from Oklahoma City Thunder in a trade. Dwight Howard being unhappy in L.A. , had options from Golden State, Dallas, L.A. Lakers and Atlanta. Howard came to the Houston Rockets organization. Last night the bearded two guard James Harden lead the Houston Rockets to a 116-101 over the Portland Trailblazers. Harden lead with 33 points and 7 rebounds. Harden shot 11 out of 18 from the field. Dwight Howard achieved double-double stature with 29 points and 13 rebounds. Howard shot 10 of 13 from the field. I think Dwight is playing the same as he was with his days in Orlando. Houston is a perfect fit for Dwight. Jeremy Lin scored 12 points and 4 assists. Patrick Beverley added 12 from the bench. For the Portland Trailblazers, sophomore point guard Damian Lillard scored 22 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Wesley Matthews scored 19 points. Nicolas Batum added 13 points, 4 assists and 3 steals. I'm impressed with Houston's 4-1 start. What do you think about this season for the Houston Rockets? What do you think about this season for the Portland Trailblazers? Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. Also at the top of this blog you can get involved in the forum called "Amazing Pro Basketball". So if you want to start a basketball topic you can do that. Tell me you're thoughts on this NBA Season so far.

Dwight Howard Matches his career high 26 rebounds in debut for Rockets

Dwight Howard better known as superman, what can I say? He is the best center in the NBA. He gets the job done both on offense and on defense. I know his free throws are something he must work on. Why am I talking about Dwight Howard right now? I am talking about him, because last night against the Charlotte Bobcats Dwight tied his career high by pulling down 26 rebounds. The Houston Rockets defeated the Charlotte Bobcats last night 96-83. The leading scorer for Houston was the bearded two guard James Harden. Harden scored 21 points and had 5 assists. Francisco Garcia scored 19 points off the bench, by shooting 7 out of 13 from the field, and 5 from 9 from downtown. Dwight Howard to go along with his 26 rebounds scored 17 points. Jeremy Lin did good by adding 16 points on 5 of 7 shooting. The Charlotte Bobcats leading scorer to me is very shocking. Josh McRoberts lead with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Ramon Sessions scored 14 points. Free Agent big man Al Jefferson added 13 points and 8 rebounds. Drafted out of U-Conn, point guard Kemba Walker contributed by scoring 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Houston Rockets fans I want to hear from you. What did you think of Dwight Howard performance? Is he back to playing like he did in Orlando? Do you think this is the year the Rockets win a title? Tell me what you think. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.

Rockets defeat the Suns by 30

The Houston Rockets made some great moves this year. Signing Omer Asik, Jeremy Lin and trading for James Harden. Last night the Houston Rockets defeated the Phoenix Suns 111-81. 7 footer Donatas Motiejunas led the Rockets in scoring with 19 points. Motiejunas not only scored 19 points but pulled down 5 rebounds and shot 7 out of 12 from the field. James Harden scored 18 points on 4 of 7 shooting and had 4 assists. Omer Asik scored 14 points and had 7 rebounds. Jeremy Lin (Linsanity) added 13 points and 6 assists. I see the Rockets as a playoff team this season and thinks that either Golden State or Utah will not make it. For the Phoneix Suns there leading scorer was Wesley Johnson who scored 15 points on 7 of 13 shooting. Goran Dragic added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The Suns have just had a really bad year and are in rebuilding mode. Hopefully they will land a top three and draft either Ben McLemore, Marcus Smart or Otto Porter. Rockets defeat Mavericks behind Chandler Parsons 32 points.

The Houston Rockets are a very exciting team this season. Chandler Parsons to me has stepped up this year. Parsons last night really stepped up and scored 32 points on 12 of 13 shooting to help the Houston Rockets defeat the Dallas Mavericks 136-103. James Harden scored 21 points and had 7 assists. Jeremy Lin also scored 21 points and had 9 assists. The Rockets win improved there record to 33-28. For The Dallas Mavericks there leading scorer was OJ Mayo. Mayo led the Mavericks with 18 points. Shawn Marion scored 14 points and pulled down 8 rebounds. Vince Carter added 12 points. The Dallas Mavericks record dropped to 26-33 with the loss. This loss hurts the Mavericks and it puts them 6 games back of the 8th spot. Thank you for reading my NBA Blog and I encourage you to BUY a Dallas Mavericks jersey here.
