First half shooting by Wade scoring 31 and Luol Deng adding 25: leads the Heat to win over Cavs

Today was the day that Lebron James played against his former team, the Miami Heat. Lebron returned to Miami and while he scored 30 points for the Cleveland Cavaliers, that wasn't the great thing about this game. What was great about this game were two players, Dwyane Wade and Luol Deng. Dwyane Wade got off to a hot start in the first half by shooting 10 of 16 scoring 24 points in the first half. Wade struggled in the second half, but that's okay because that's why you have teammates to try and bail you out when you're not feeling your A game. The Miami Heat defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 101-91. Dwyane Wade lead the way for the Heat with 31 points. Luol Deng was an incredible second scoring option today for the Miami Heat. Deng added 25 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Here are the stats for each team.

The Miami Heat are sitting in the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference. Injuries have hurt this team. The Heat trail the top seeded Toronto Raptors by 8 and a half games. I felt like that the Heat played like a team today. I enjoyed the performance of Luol Deng, and I loved his game when he was on the Bulls. I would like to see Danny Granger remain healthy, because at one point Danny Granger was one of the top small forwards in the NBA, before he suffered injuries when he was with the Indiana Pacers. Heat improve to 4-2 after beating Timberwolves. D-Wade scores 25: Bosh adds 24

The Miami Heat won their first three games, then dropped two straight, now won last night by beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 102-92. I think people are under estimating the Miami Heat. I personally wanted to see how this team will do without Lebron James, and I feel they are going to be fine. Will the Heat go back to the NBA Finals for their fifth straight year? I have no idea, but you never know. Here are the top stats for each team.

Miami Heat Thoughts

I feel the Miami Heat will do fine. They will finish top 5 in the Eastern Conference.
Norris Cole to me has been solid this year. Cole has played so far 25.7 minutes per game, shooting 46 percent from the field and 36 from three, while averaging 8.5 points per game.
While Luol Deng is no Lebron James, I feel he is filling in nicely. He's an underrated small forward in the NBA.
Chris Bosh has been playing like the man again just like he did when he was in Toronto
If Dwyane Wade can remain healthy for most of the season, this team is going far. I see the Conference Finals, maybe even back to the NBA Finals.

Minnesota Timberwolves Thoughts

Andrew Wiggins is shooting 43 from the field so far this season. I don't think that 's too bad of a start for a rookie player. If I were a rookie in the NBA and I start at 40 -45 percent and improved each year, I'd be happy.
I think the T-Wolves need to find a way to make Andrew Wiggins more of at least a second option. So far I'm seeing the offense run though Kevin Martin and Nikola Pekovic.
Will this team tear down only to rebuild again? I think this team must stick with a mix of young and veteran pieces.

Final Thoughts

During the off-season Lebron James left the Miami Heat to return home to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Heat proved in their home opener they don't need King James as they started off with a 107-95 win over the Washington Wizards. Chris Bosh stepped up and played the number one option. Miami Heat thoughts

Chris Bosh showed tonight that he can step up and become the man in Miami. His game reminded me of his Toronto Raptors days. If he can continue to play like this Miami will be fine.
Norris Cole scoring 23 points is incredible. His 60 percent shooting is good. Let's hope Cole can keep up. Maybe he could win the Most Improved Player award.
Dwyane Wade is showing that if he remains healthy, he is still a top 3 shooting guard in the NBA. Wade and Bosh can carry the load I believe.
Luol Deng was solid in his Miami Heat season debut. Shooting 50 percent is good. If Deng can play solid it will make the Heat say Lebron who?
The Heat scoring 107 points. If they can get off to a great start,, they could be a top 3 Eastern Conference Team.

Washington Wizards Thoughts

Paul Pierce putting up solid numbers in his Washington Wizards season debut. 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists are decent number. Pierce will provide great veteran leadership to the young back court of John Wall and Bradley Beal
John Wall achieving a double-double. Wall is an elite point guard. I would say top 10, maybe even top 5 right now.
Otto Porter scored 13 points and shot solid tonight. Hopefully the drafted Georgetown small forward will keep up with his performance.

Last night I watched game 2 of the 2014 NBA Finals. I was impressed with the play of Lebron James. He went from Lecramp in game 1 to Lechamp in game 2. Down the stretch the San Antonio missed key free throws that would have won them the game. The Spurs shot 12-20 from the free throw line. The Miami Heat defeated the San Antonio Spurs 98-96 to even up the series. Here are the top 5 scorers for each team.

Will the Heat 3-peat? Miami wins game 4 to take a 3-1 series lead

I have two questions for my readers. 1. Are the Miami Heat going to 3-peat? 2. Are the Pacers done? I will give my answers to these questions, and then I encourage you to send me your comments with your answers. Are the Miami Heat going to 3-peat? I believe the answer is yes, becuase Lebron James is dominating, Dwyane Wade steps up, Chris Bosh played great last night ( more on stats below in a minute), Ray Allen and Norris Cole can play. I think the Heat have the mental toughness to win, and get back to their 4th straight NBA Finals. To answer question 2, are the Pacers done? My answer is yes. Early in the season I was seeing a different Pacers team than I'm seeing now. The last two months have been awful for the Pacers. Roy Hibbert isn't playing like the 7 foot 2 center All Star that I once seen. The Pacers have a size advantage, but to me aren't using it effectively. For the Pacers to win the next three games, and go to the NBA Finals they have to play like they did in game 1. Roy Hibbert has got to step up. If you have to take 15-20 foot jumpshot to score fine do that. Lance Stephenson has got to stop trash talking and just back up his game. NFL player Richard Sherman can get away with it because he backs up his talk. It's not going to work for Lance Stephenson to try and get inside Lebron's head, because Lebron will out do him just about every time. Paul George is going to have to step up and play more aggressive. I think he shot well last night and you will find out later. David West to me is the guy who carries this team. Paul George needs to carry this team more. The Miami Heat won game 4 102-90 over the Indiana Pacers. The Miami Heat now lead the series 3-1. Game 5 will be in Indiana. Lebron and Wade dominate: Ray Allen hits 4 three pointers to help Heat take a 2-1 series lead over Pacers

When I watched the first half, I thought the Pacers could maybe run away with this game being up 17-4. Never forget whether you're a Heat fan or not, the Miami Heat know how to turn up the Heat in the second half. Miami did not start strong, but I think in basketball it doesn't matter how you start, it matters how you finish. The Heat knew how to finish the game. The Heat were down 42-38 at halftime to the top seeded Eastern Conference team Indiana Pacers. In the second half is when Miami played their game outscoring the Pacers 61-45. The Miami Heat take a 2-1 lead in the series by defeating the Indiana Pacers 99-87. I think the Pacers made the mistake in the second half by not attacking more inside. Lebron dominated from the field: Ray Allen played like his old self to help Heat win game 1 over Nets

Did anyone last night watch game 1 between the Brooklyn Nets and the Miami Heat? I did what I could catch of the game. Lebron James put on a show in Miami, and Ray Allen played like his old self last night. The Miami Heat were fired up in game 1 and defeated the Brooklyn Nets 107-86. Lebron James lead the way with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and shot 10 of 15 from the field. Ray Allen scored 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and shot 4 of 7 from three point land. Chris Bosh achieved double-double status. Bosh scored 15 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists. Dwyane Wade scored 14 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and shot 7 of 13 from the field. Point guard Mario Chalmers added 12 points, 2 assists and 2 steals. What did you think of the performance of Lebron James in game 1? How did it feel to see Ray Allen step up? Heat take game 1 behind Lebron's 27 and D-Wade's 23

To me the key to the Miami Heat winning a third straight NBA title will be the health of superstar shooting guard Dwyane Wade. In game 1 between the Charlotte Bobcats and the Miami Heat I was impressed with the Bobcats. I do believe Miami will win this series in 6 games. I almost thought for a minute I was going to lose two dollars to a friend of mine. Miami though in the end found a way to turn up the heat. The Miami Heat took game 1 by defeating the Charlotte Bobcats 99-88. Lebron James lead the way with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 8 of 16 shooting from the field, and 4 of 8 from three point land. Dwyane Wade scored 23 points, 5 assists and had 10 of 16 shooting. Chris Bosh scored 13 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. James Jones added 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 of 3 three point shooting in over 14 minutes of playing time. What impressed you most in this game? For the Charlotte Bobcats, point guard Kemba Walker lead the way with 20 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Big man Al Jefferson scored 18 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks. Gary Neal scored 17 points and 3 rebounds in 27 minutes and 50 seconds off the bench. Power forward Josh McRoberts added 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. King James scored 32 to lead the Heat to win over Blazers: Bosh adds 15

The Miami Heat are not the Miami Heat of last season. I still believe though that they will be in the NBA Finals. I'm sticking with my pick. I have the Heat to 3-peat. The Miami Heat last night played the Portland Trailblazers. The Miami Heat defeated the Blazers 93-91. Lebron James lead the way with 32 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and shot 13 of 23 from the field. Chris Bosh scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Chris (Birdman) Andresen added 13 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks. Mario Chalmers scored 11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. The Miami Heat improved to 48-21 and trail the top seeded Eastern Conference Indiana Pacers by 2 games. Will the Heat turn up the heat in the 2014 NBA Playoffs? I believe they will. Lebron James huge night of 61 points lead Heat to win over Bobcats

This season has been the debate of Lebron James VS Kevin Durant for MVP. It seems that after the All Star Break King James turns up the Heat. Last night he really turned up the heat against the Charlotte Bobcats. Lebron scored 61 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, shot 22 of 33 from the field and 8 of 10 from three point land. The Miami Heat defeated the Charlotte Bobcats 124-107. If I'm any team seeded 6th, 7th or 8th in the Eastern Conference, I wouldn't want to play Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers or the Chicago Bulls. Chris Bosh scored 15 points and pulled down 7 rebounds. Toney Douglas added 10 points, 2 rebounds and shot 4 of 5 from the field. Miami improved to 43-14 with the win. Do you think that the Miami Heat will pass the Indiana Pacers for the 1 seed? Will the Miami Heat 3 peat? James scores 31 by wearing a mask: Heat defeat the Knicks 108-82

Is Lebron James the best player in the NBA? I love the battle between James VS Durant this season. Last night was the battle of two of the top scorers in the NBA , Lebron James VS Carmelo Anthony. King James is suffering a broken nose and scored 31 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and shot 13 of 19 from the field while wearing a mask. Dwyane Wade played like his old self by scoring 23 points and shot 10 of 13 from the field. The Miami Heat defeated the New York Knicks 108-82. I admit I love both of these teams. I feel sorry for New York and I've seen a lot of their games this season. Lebron finds a way to play impressive in spite of his broken nose. I give him a lot of respect for that. For the New York Knicks Carmelo Anthony lead the way with 29 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and shot 11 of 20 from the field. Tyson Chandler had a double-double. Chandler scored 19 points and pulled down 16 rebounds. I believe that when the second half of the season starts the Miami Heat really turn up the Heat against opposing teams. Lebron VS Durant: The Most Interesting NBA Player Matchup: Heat defeat Thunder behind King James 33: Durant scores 28 in the loss

The two most interesting and entertaining players in the NBA are Lebron James and Kevin Durant. I believe the battle for MVP will come down to between King James and KD. This game felt like a knockout fight early with Lebron delivering the early blows to the Thunder. The Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-81. Lebron James scored 33 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists and shot 15 of 22 from the field. Dwyane Wade added 24 ponits, 10 assists, 7 rebounds and shot 11 of 17. Chris Bosh scored 24 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. The Big 3 (Lebron, Wade and Bosh) combined for 81 of Miami's 103 points. For the Oklahoma City Thunder Kevin Durant lead the way with 28 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Russell Westbrook scored 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists. Serge Ibaka added 14 points and 8 rebounds. How impressed were you with the performance of the Heat's big 3? Is Lebron or Durant your MVP? Lebron scores 37 to lead Heat over Suns

I love the MVP battle this season between Lebron James and Kevin Durant. The Miami Heat defeated the Phoenix Suns 103-97. Lebron James scored 37 points, 9 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 steals. King James shot 12 of 22 from the field. Chris Bosh scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and shot 8 of 11 from the field. Mario Chalmers scored 13 points. Norris Cole added 10 points and 3 assists. Will Lebron win the MVP? Do you see the Heat obtaining a 3-peat? For the Phoenix Suns Gerald Green lead with 26 points and 5 rebounds. Goran Dragic added 15 points, 9 assists and 4 steasls. Channing Frye scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. PJ Tucker added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. How impressed are you with the Phoenix Suns this season? Heat win inspite Blake Griffin scoring 43

The Miami Heat are one of the best two teams in the Eastern Conference. Blake Griffin scored 43 points against the Heat. It was not enough though as the Miami Heat defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 116-112. Lebron James lead the way for the Heat with 31 points. King James also added 12 assists and 8 rebounds. Chris Bosh scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The man with the record for the most made three pointers in NBA history, Ray Allen added 15 points, on 2 of 5 from three point range. Dwyane Wade scored 14 points and 8 assists. Shane Battier added 14 points on 4 of 8 shooting from three. For the Los Angeles Clippers, Blake Griffin added 15 rebounds and 6 assists to go along with his 43 points. Jamal Crawford scored 31 points and 6 assists. DeAndre Jordan achieved a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. Matt Barnes added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. What did you think of this game? I wish I wasn't super tired last night or I would have stayed up and watched this. Will the Clippers be the team in the Western Conference to go to the NBA Finals? The Ten Teams of Christmas: Heat Vs Lakers

I think the last three games to play on ESPN and ABC were the best games. In spite the Lakers lost, I got to give them credit for remaining competitive against the NBA champs the Miami Heat. The Miami Heat defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 101-95. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh scored 23 points each. Wade scored 23 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and had 3 steals. Chris Bosh achieved double-double stature with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Lebron James added 19 points and 8 rebounds. For the Los Angeles Lakers, Nick Young lead the way with 20 points and 4 of 7 from three point land. Jodie Meeks scored 17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and shot 6 of 10 from the field. Xavier Henry added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 of 8 shooting. What did you think of the play of Dwyane Wade? How impressed were you with this game? Should the Lakers tank? The Heat's Big 3 are huge in defeating the Indiana Pacers

Did anyone watch the game last night on ESPN the Indiana Pacers Versus the Miami Heat? What did you like about the game? What did you hate about the game? Both teams were playing hard. What I believe helped the Heat was, in the third quarter Roy Hibbert picked up his 5th personal foul. So with Hibbert on the bench, Miami played off of that. The Big 3 (Dwyane Wade, Lebron James and Chris Bosh) combined for 71 of Miami's 97 points. The Miami Heat defeated the Indiana Pacers 97-94. D-Wade lead the way with 32 points, 3 steals and 15 of 25 shooting. Lebron James scored 24 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 8 of 14 shooting. Chris Bosh added 15 points and 8 rebounds. For the Indiana Pacers who I thought would win this game, Paul George lead with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. George shot 8 of 16 from the field. Power Forward David West added 23 points and 3 rebounds. The most underrated shooting guard in the NBA, Lance Stephenson added 13 points and 9 rebounds. I believe for Miami to get past Indiana, take the ball to the hole at Roy Hibbert, and let him get in foul trouble. Send me your thoughts on this game. Lebron James 30 points, lead Heat to win over Jazz

Is Lebron James the best player currently in the NBA? Why or why not? Yesterday against the Utah Jazz, Lebron James came close to a triple-double. King James scored 30 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the Miami Heat to a 117-94 win ove the Utah Jazz. Dwyane Wade scored 27 points and pulled down 5 boards. Chris Bosh added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. For the Utah Jazz, Alec Burks lead with 31 points and 7 assists off the bench. Derrick Favors scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Enes Kanter added 14 points and 8 rebounds. Do you think the Miami Heat will 3-peat? Or will someone else stop them from accomplishing that? Tell me what you think.
