30 Days 30 Grades: Day 28: Eastern Conference Toronto Raptors Off-Season Grade

I'm going to be honest this is one of the hardest teams I'm having trouble grading.  I don't get to see a lot of Raptors games.  Welcome to day 28 of my 30 day blog series titled "30 Days 30 Grades.  Today I am going to talk about the Toronto Raptors and their off-season grade. Here are the four things I'm going to do in this blog , 1) Give my Raptors off-season grade,  2) Give a list of players added to the roster, whether it be through the draft, trade, free agency or claimed off of waivers,  3) Give a list of Raptors players subtracted from the roster, and finally 4) I'm going to give the reason or reasons why I give the Toronto Raptors the off-season grade I give them.

Toronto Raptors Off-Season Grade:  B+

Toronto Raptors Players Added: Bruno Caboclo, DeAndre Daniels, Lou Williams, Lucas Nogiera, Will Cherry, Diante Garrett, Greg Stiemsma

Toronto Raptors Players Subtracted:  John Salmons, Steve Novak, Nando De Colo

Why did I give the Toronto Raptors an off-season report card grade of a B plus?  I believe that bringing back Kyle Lowry and Patrick Patterson is huge in the Raptors success. Lowry averaged 17.9 points per game, 7.4 assists per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, 1.5 steals per game, shot 42% from the field, 38% from three, and 81% from free throw line.  Patrick Patterson is an athletic power forward who shot 47 percent from the field and 41 percent from three.  I think that those resigning were two wise choices.  I like the pickup of Lou Williams to add to the Raptors bench.  I'm going to be honest with you I know nothing about the other players on the list added to this team.   Do you think my grade is fair? Am I rating the Raptors season too high, too low or just right?  Let me know what you think by sending me your comments.
