Melo and J.R. scored 28 to help Knicks snap 7 game losing streak.

Are we going to go through another year of this roller coaster ride with the New York Knicks? Up and down. First started off 2-1 looking good, then lost 7 straight game. I want to see the Knicks finish .500 or better. Today the New York Knicks defeated the Denver Nuggets 109-93, to snap there 7 game losing skid. Carmelo and J.R. Smith each had 28 points. New York Knicks Thoughts

1. I want to see the Knicks win, but then I admit, if the Knicks have a 1st round draft pick this year, I want to see them stink it up, and land Jahii Okafor or Karl Towns.
2. The Knicks have cap space next year, so no reason they can't go get a big name and a solid bench player or two. 
3. Great performance from both Melo and J.R.  combined 20 of 30 from the field.  If both J.R. and Melo can shoot like this most nights, the Knicks will set themselves up most of the time to win. 
4. Amare puts up decent production when healthy, the problem I have is, he doesn't stay healthy most of the time.  So let him go for nothing or get a solid piece back in a trade.
5. At 3-8 can the Knicks put together a 5-10 game winning streak now.  

Denver Nuggets Thoughts

1. I can't understand how a team with this much talent is 2-7.  They have a lot of depth on this squad, but for some reason can't seem to put wins together.  Maybe the Nuggets need to draft Okafor or Towns in the 2015 NBA Draft.
2.  I feel there will be some moves made before the trade deadline. I think Wilson Chandler or Danilo Gallinari could be gone. 
3. Can this team bounce back from there 2-7 start?  Last year excuse was injuries? What is this year's?  Last year was the first year since Carmelo Anthony was drafted in 2003 that the Denver Nuggets didn't make the playoffs. 

Final Thoughts

Good solid win for the New York Knicks. Considering the Knicks are in the Eastern Conference, I still feel they will make the playoffs.  The top teams to be in to me are Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, Miami Heat are my top 5.  What are your thoughts on this game?
