L.A. Clippers Thoughts
- The Clippers must upgrade at the small forward position or shooting guard. I would like to see a defender or two at those positions for this team. I would be okay with the Clippers picking up Metta World Peace for cheap.
- The Clippers this game I'm surprised won considering they turned the ball over ten more times than the Suns. 20 turnovers to the Suns 10.
- The Clippers out rebounded the Suns 43-27 on the defensive glass.
- In spite the Clippers gave up 107 points, the two centers DeAndre Jordan and Spencer Hawes had 10 blocks between the two. That is some inside low post defensive presence.
Phoenix Suns Thoughts
- At 5-5, I don't feel playing .500 ball will get you into the playoffs in the Western Conference. If the Suns were in the Eastern Conference they would be anywhere between a 4-8 seed.
- Nice to see Alex Len put up solid numbers in this game. 17 points and 11 rebounds.
- With the overload of guards on this team, I think you must trade one of them for a power forward.
Final Thoughts
At 5-3 I think the Clippers are in good shape. I wouldn't worry. You will be in the postseason. I'd like to see you in the NBA Finals.
