Double Doubles from Alec Burks and Enes Kanter lead Jazz to win over Thunder

Utah Jazz are a solid NBA team. I feel if they were in the Eastern Conference, they'd be a playoff team. The Western Conference is just so stacked , and so many teams on the rise, it could be hard for the Jazz to get into the playoffs.  I'm impressed with their 5-7 start.  Last night they defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 98-81.  Both Alec Burks and Enes Kanter had double-doubles to help with the cause.  Here are the stats for each team.

Utah Jazz Thoughts

1. The Jazz had 55 rebounds to the Thunder 44 rebounds.  Getting almost 15 rebounds from your shooting guard is amazing and impressive.  
2. I personally like the starting five of this team Enes Kanter, Derrick Favors, Gordon Hayward, Alec Burks and Trey Burke.  Tonight felt more like team basketball than an individual getting his stats.  Playing as a team will I feel help you win better than getting individual stats.
3. Gordon Hayward didn't shoot too good tonight 4 of 12, but it's why you have teammates to try and help you when you struggle.  
4. Shooting 43 percent from the field is not good, unless your opponent shoots worse

Oklahoma City Thunder Thoughts

1. Since there is no Westbrook and Durant, I want to see Serge Ibaka step up and be the man along with Reggie Jackson.
2. I hate the injuries to this team because I like to see good to great competition, but it's nice to see Jeremy Lamb get to play. 
3. Solid performance from Kendrick Perkins shooting a perfect 4 of 4 off the bench.

Final Thoughts

Winning the glass by 11 rebounds will help you win games.  At 5-7 it is still early for the Utah Jazz. I think they could win 37 games this year.   It won't make the playoffs but I feel this team is better than last year.  So what are your thoughts about this game?
