Thaddeus Young and Nikola Pekovic achieving a double-double helps T-Wolves win over Pistons

I may be one of few people who loved the T-Wolves acquiring Thaddeus Young from the 76ers during the offseason. This team had to do something to keep from losing Kevin Love for nothing.  They also acquired Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett.  Last night Thaddeus Young and Nikola Pekovic helped the Timberwolves defeat the Detroit Pistons 97-91.  Here are the stats for each team.

Minnesota Timberwolves Thoughts

1. The Minnesota Timberwolves are going to be a top team on SportsCenter.  Passing highlights from Rubio, to dunks from Wiggins, LaVine, Brewer and Thaddeus Young.  
2. Rookie Andrew Wiggins scored 8 points, 4 rebounds on 4 of 9 shooting. I feel Wiggins will improve. I don't feel he will be the player that Jabari Parker will be.  I do feel that Wiggins will be an all star though.
3. I feel this team has more depth since trading Kevin Love.  I can't see the T-Wolves making the playoffs since this year since they are in the Western Conference.

Detroit Pistons Thoughts

1. The Pistons are off to an 0-2 start. I think we have to give coach Stan Van Gundy time to figure out rotations.   Do you have Greg Monroe come off the bench and play Josh Smith at the 4?  Do you have Josh Smith come off the bench ( which I feel he wouldnt' accept that role).  What lineup would you use between these two ( Andre Drummond, Greg Monroe, Josh Smith, Jodie Meeks, Brandon Jennings or Andre Drummond, Josh Smith, Caron Butler, Jodie Meeks and Brandon Jennings).  
2. It's sad when your best two scorers are bench guys.  Then again Caron Butler and D.J. Augustin can score.  
3. I have this team making the playoffs this year. I'm sticking with my prediction in spite of the 0-2 start. I have faith in SVG to turn things around.  
4. Josh Smith likes to chuck up his shots.  I think he should only take 10 shots a game, unless he is on fire.
