30 Days 30 Grades: Day 17 Eastern Conference Central Division Milwaukee Bucks Off-Season Grade

Welcome to day 17 of my 30 day blog series, "30 Days 30 Grades".  Today I am going to talk about Eastern Conference Milwaukee Bucks.   Here are the four things I'm going to do,  1) Give my Bucks off-season grade,  2) Talk about Milwaukee Bucks players added to the roster whether it be through the draft, trades, free agency or claimed off of waivers,  3) Talk about Bucks players who were subtracted from the roster this off-season and finally,  4)  Give the reason or reasons why I gave the Milwaukee Bucks the off-season grade that I gave them.

Milwaukee Bucks Off-Season Grade:  B

Milwaukee Bucks Players Added: Jabari Parker, Damien Inglis, Johnny O Bryant, Kendall Marshall, Jerryd Bayless, Jared Dudley

Milwaukee Bucks Players Subtracted:  Jeff Adrien, Carlos Delfino, Miroslav Raduljica

Why did I give the Milwaukee Bucks a B?  I think they had a good solid off-season.   I love that they drafted Jabari Parker.  Parker is a high candidate to win rookie of the year.   I'm going to make a bold prediction here (granted that Parker stays healthy, I think Parker will average 17 points per game, 7 rebounds per game and 3 assists per game.  I believe that Jabari can lead the Bucks and you've got to admit Jabari is going to bring excitement to this Bucks franchise.  I personally can't wait to watch him play.  I like the pickup of Kendall Marshall.   Marshall last year for the L.A. Lakers averaged 8.0 points per game, 8.8 assists per game, 2,9 rebounds per game, shot 40% from the field, 39% from three point land, and 52% from the free throw line. Marshall's free throw shooting worries me, but Marshall is a solid pass-first point guard.   Jerryd Bayless is a solid pickup to add to the Bucks back court bench.  Last year between the Grizzlies and the Celtics Bayless averaged 9.1 points per game, 2.6 assists per game, 2 rebounds per game, shot 39 % from the field, 34% from three point land, and 79% from the free throw line.   I'm curious to see what newcomer coach Jason Kidd is going to do with the minutes between Brandon Knight, OJ Mayo, Kendall Marshall, Jerryd Bayless and Nate Wolters.  The Bucks also added Jared Dudley from a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers. Dudley is a solid defender who shot 36 percent last year from three point land.   The Bucks have a lot of forwards, so to see how Jason Kidd manages their minutes will be exciting.  Do you agree with my Bucks off-season grade of a B?  What grade would you have given the Milwaukee Bucks?  Send me your comments. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. I can't wait for the NBA season to start.
