Last time I shared with you my eastern conference teams. This time I will share with you the teams in the Western Conference who I feel will be in the playoffs. I'm guessing on the order because the western seems to be tougher.
1) Oklahoma City Thunder- I feel that Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook will do a bunch of the scoring. Sergio Ibaka ( should be nicknamed to Sergio Iblocka) will be playing defense along with Kendrick Perkins. I feel this team is going to make some major noise this year.
2) Dallas Mavericks- I was tempted to have Mavericks at the 1 seed but I feel that Durant and Westbrook will be too much. Mavericks did though get Lamar Odom which to me puts them above the L.A. Lakers. Also Vince Carter is a 15-20 point scorer.
3) Los Angeles Lakers- I feel that the Lakers would have been a 1 or 2 seed if Lamar Odom wouldn't have left. I don't feel though the Lakers will be as good as they once were without Lamar Odom coming in off the bench.
4) San Antonio Spurs- While this team was a 1 seed last year. I feel that getting rid of George Hill didn't really help them. I could be wrong. Tim Duncan is getting older along with Manu Ginobili, Richard Jefferson and Tony Parker.
5) Portland Trailblazers- I feel that signing Jamal Crawford was an awesome signing for the Trailblazers. I feel this will help them out alot.
6) Denver Nuggets- Im actually torn from 6 to 8 seeds. I'm kinda guessing on this one. Im thinking Denver will have a decent year though
7) Los Angeles Clippers- I think going and getting Chris Paul was great. The only problem is the logjam at point guard ( Mo Williams, Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups and Eric Bledsoe)
8) Golden State Warriors- getting Brandon Rush from the Indiana Pacers I feel will help this team out. I feel that Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis and David Lee will come together and so will this teams defense.
These are the eight teams in the Western Conference who I feel will make the playoffs. Now I'm going to make a guess and the NBA Finals will be between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Miami Heat wins in six games.
