What is going on with the San Antonio Spurs
What is going on with the San Antonio Spurs? This team seemed like they were going to win 65 games. All of a sudden they will be blessed if they can hold on to the number one seed in the western conference. They lost there sixth game in a row by being defeated by the Houston Rockets 119-114. Kevin Martin led the way for the Rockets with 33 points on 8 of 20 shooting and hit 4 three pointers. Luis Scola added 21 points, Kyle Lowry added 14 points and Chase Budinger, Courtney Lee and Patrick Patterson each scored 12 points. For the Spurs Tony Parker led with 31 points, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan added 23 points and rookie Gary Neal added 10 points. The Spurs currently hold only a 1 and a half game lead over the Los Angeles Lakers. From here on out the Spurs need to keep winning to keep the number one seed in the western conference. I really thought the way the Spurs came out early in the year that they may actually beat the Lakers and go to the finals. Now I'm predicting that the Lakers will be in the finals.
