Memphis Grizzlies playing impressive and defeated New Orleans Hornets 111-89
The Memphis Grizzlies won there 46th game on Sunday by beating the New Orleans Hornets 111-89. I've been very impressed with the Memphis Grizzlies this season. Mike Conley has stepped up his game and could be a candidate for most improved player of the season. OJ Mayo led the Grizzlies in scoring with 18 points , Marc Gasol added 16 points, Sam Young and Zach Randolph added 14 points. The Memphis Grizzlies improved to 46-34 with the victory over the New Orleans Hornets and are currently in the 8th seed. For the New Orleans Hornets Marco Belinelli led in scoring for the Hornets with 18 points, Willie Green, Trevor Ariza and Carl Landry each scored 11 points. The Loss for the Hornets drops there record to 46-34. Both the Hornets and the Grizzlies have been impressive this season. I'm more impressed with the Grizzlies because they started back and have fought back. The Hornets started off 8-0 and just fell apart later. I'd rather finish good than start good and finish terrible. The Grizzlies have a good team and if they play the San Antonio Spurs in the first round I think there could be a possible first round upset.
