Boston Celtics sneak by the New York Knicks 87-85 to take game 1

With 11.6 seconds left Ray Allen hits a game winning 3 to lift the Boston Celtics over the New York Knicks 87-85 to take game 1. Ray Allen led the way for the Boston Celtics with 24 points 6 rebounds and hit 3 out of 5 from three point range. Paul Pierce scored 18 points. Kevin Garnett added a double double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Jermaine O Neal added 12 points. Rajon Rondo scored 10 points had 9 assists and 9 rebounds. For the New York Knicks Amare Stoudemire led with a double double by scoring 28 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Carmelo Anthony added 15 points and Chauncey Billups scored 10 points. Congratulations to the Boston Celtics for taking game 1 of the NBA Playoffs. The Knicks and the Celtics to me is another exciting matchup because of the stars on each team.
