Pro Basketball Hoops Land: Brandon Bass scores 23: Sullinger adds 22: to get Philly to start 0-11

The Eastern Conference is usually a wide open from seeds 5-8. The Boston Celtics last night improved to 4-6 by beating the Philadelphia 76ers 101-90. Brandon Bass lead the way for the Boston Celtics with 23. Jared Sullinger who I actually thought was going to be an NBA bust added 22 points. Here are the stats for each team.

Boston Celtics Thoughts

It's nice to see Rajon Rondo in the lineup assisting. I will miss him if he ends up leaving the Boston Celtics.
I think this team has some solid depth with Marcus Thornton, Marcus Smart and James Young. Evan Turner is alright in spurts.
If you think you're losing Rajon Rondo and Jeff Green to free agency trade them for some young pieces and 1st round draft picks.
The Celtics shot 49 percent for the game.
Can the Celtics sneak into the playoffs this year?
If I'm the Celtics next year I draft either Stanley Johnson, Emmanuel Mudiay, Karl Anthony Towns or Jahii Okafor.

Philadelphia 76ers Thoughts

I think this 0-11 start has to be the worst start in Sixers history. While many people may not like what the 76ers are doing, I get exactly what they are doing. I don't think it's tanking, I think it's rebuilding.
Tony Wroten has seemed to cut down on his turnovers. He is the bright spot this year so far for the Sixers.
Nice to see MCW back in the lineup for the Sixers
Rookie KJ McDaniels scored 8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 block in 11 minutes of action. I don't get why KJ didn't play more in this game.

Final Thoughts

I feel in the coming seasons both the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers are two teams on the rise. It won't be this year and maybe not the next. But I look for in the 2016-2017 season to see Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers at the top of the Atlantic Division. Send me your thoughts about this game or any other game.
