Celtics win opener with high powered offense over Nets

It always feels nice to win the first game of the season. Last night the Boston Celtics put on an offensive explosion by beating the Brooklyn Nets 121-105. Here are the top scorers for each team.

Boston Celtics Thoughts

1. 8 Players for the Celtics were in double figures.  When 8 players can score at least 10 points your odds of winning increase. 
2. Marcus Smart looked solid in his rookie season debut.  Smart scored 10 points, 4 steals, 2 assists on 3 of 7 shooting.  If Rondo gets traded I could see Smart being the starting point guard.
3. Evan Turner while not my favorite signing during the off-season, Turner was solid.  Evan Turner scored 10 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists on 5 of 9 shooting. 
4. Rajon Rondo looked solid with his double double.  The question will be will Rondo be traded?  If you were to trade Rondo what would you want back?  

Brooklyn Nets Thoughts

1. Mirza Teletovic played great.  I think he is a solid player
2. Deron Williams looked good and a little bit like his old self.  Hopefully D-Will will remain healthy, and carry this team to the Eastern Conference Finals. 
3. Jarret Jack had an impressive shooting night off the bench.  
4. I feel that the Nets will finish 2nd in the Atlantic Division and will make the playoffs.
