Oklahoma City Thunder's bench provides most of the scoring to take a 3-2 lead

One more win to go for the Oklahoma City Thunder will play the Dallas Mavericks in the western conference finals. Tonight Durant and Westbrook only combined for 30 of Oklahoma City's 99 points. The Thunder's bench really stepped up there game tonight as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeat the Memphis Grizzlies 99-72. This win puts the Thunder up 3-2 over the Grizzlies. Kevin Durant did lead the Thunder in scoring with 19 points on 7 of 14 shooting and pulled down 7 rebounds. Daequan Cook added 18 points on 6 of 7 shooting. Russell Westbrook started and scored 11 points on 4 of 10 shooting and had six assists. Nazr Mohammed added 10 points off the bench. Sometimes your starts don't have to have a great game in order to win. When your bench steps up like the Thunder's did it feels like the starters bascially nearly had a break. For The Grizzlies who I feel got owned tonight by the Thunder Marc Gasol led with 15 points and only pulled down 5 rebounds in over 31 minutes. Zach Randolph added 9 points and 7 rebounds. The Grizzlies to me got owned and the Oklahoma City Thunder shut down the low post scoring of Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph. I feel that is the key for the Thunder to win one more game. I thank each and every one of you who reads my NBA Blog and I hope you will continue to read. I encourage you to send me those comments and or what you would like to see on the blog.
