Next Week is NBA Draft Lottery

I just want to remind everyone that next Tuesday is the NBA Draft. What team will land the number one pick? It will be interesting to find out. Will it be the Minnesota Timberwolves?Cleveland Cavaliers?Toronto Raptors? Washington Wizards? Sacramento Kings? Utah Jazz? Detroit Pistons? Charlotte Bobcats? Milwaukee Bucks? Golden State Warriors? Phoenix Suns or the Houston Rockets? There are two teams that have two picks in the lottery and those two teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Utah Jazz. What will be interesting is whoever lands number one I feel will choose either Derrick Williams or Kyrie Irving. There is only one team I can think of who definity should take Derrick Williams if they get the first pick and that is the Washington Wizards. The Wizards drafted John Wall last year who was good for them. If the Wizards did choose Irving you could slide Wall over to the shooting guard position. I prefer the Wizards to take Derrick Williams. Some teams could use Kyrie Irving like the Toronto Raptors who I feel need a better point guard than Jose Calderon. I'd like Calderon to come in off the bench and start Irving. Minnesota Timberwolves really could use Irving services unless Ricky Rubio comes over. Even if thats the case start either Irving or Rubio and the other one be the sixth man. I don't have a whole lot of faith in Jonny Flynn running the point in Minnesota. Put Flynn in Portland and that would be interesting. The third team that I feel could really use his services and upgrade at the point guard position is the Sacramento Kings. Picture a backcourt of Kyrie Irving and Tyreke Evans that to me would be exciting to watch. I feel that a team can't sometimes not have too many ball handlers. I will be sometime next week posting up my first round mock draft. I only do the first round because to me the second round is very super hard to predict. I've gotten it wrong the last three to four years I've tried to do a second round. I don't usually like second rounders as much as I do first rounders. I'm not saying though you can't find a rare gem in the second round like Manu Ginobili, Carlos Boozer, Rashard Lewis or Gilbert Arenas. So stay tuned to find out and send me your comments about my picks and what you think about them. I will also start talking about some of the players in this upcoming draft. Thank you for reading my NBA Blog and I hope you enjoy the rest of the NBA Playoffs.
