Dirk's 40 points helps Mavs lead the series 3-1 over the Thunder in overtime
I can't stress enough how amazing of a power forward Dirk Nowitzki is in the NBA. Well tonight he proved to be amazing again. He scored 40 points to help the Dallas Mavericks defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime 112-105. Nowitzki shot 12 of 20 from the field. I want to go and get a Dirk Nowitzki jersey. Jason Terry added 20 points off the bench. Jason Kidd added 17 points 7 assists and 5 rebounds. For the Oklahoma City Thunder Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 29 points and 15 rebounds but had 9 turnovers. Russell Westbrook scored 19 points had 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Serge Ibaka added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. Nick Collison and Thabo Sefolosha added 12 points. Congratulations to the Dallas Mavericks for winning game 4. The Mavs are now one game away from going back to the NBA Finals and possibly Dirk Nowitzki winning a title. He deserves to win one. As for the Oklahoma City Thunder its win the next three games or go home.
