Dallas takes a commanding 3-0 lead over last year's NBA Champs Los Angeles Lakers
The Dallas Mavericks are playing better than I expected. I actually thought that the Lakers would win this series in six games. I was wrong about this series. The Dallas Mavericks friday beat the NBA Champs Los Angeles Lakers 98-92 to take a commanding 3-0 lead over them. Dirk Nowitzki the most amazing power forward to me in the NBA led the way with 32 points and 9 rebounds on 12 of 19 shooting. Dirk also hit 4 out of 5 from three point range. Dirk Nowitzki has been amazing in this series and I hope that he does get a ring because he is one of the best power forwards I've seen play the game. Jason Terry added 23 points off the bench. Peja Stojakovic added 15 points off the bench. For the Los Angeles Lakers Andrew Bynum led the way with a double double by scoring 21 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Lamar Odom started tonight in place of Ron Artest being suspended added 18 points and 6 rebounds. Kobe Bryant scored 17 points had 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Pau Gasol added 12 points and 8 rebounds. Congratulations to the Dallas Mavericks for going up 3-0 on the Lakers. I'm hoping that we'll see someone different in the western conference in the NBA Finals this year besides the Lakers. For the Los Angeles Lakers if you want a three peat and to get back a fourth time in a row you need to step up your game.
