Lakers Finally Win One after losing five in a row

The Los Angeles Lakers started off hot this season and then struggled. They struggled recently and suffered a five game losing streak. Well Tuesday Night all that changed. The Los Angeles Lakers finally won a game by beating the best team in the league the San Antonio Spurs 102-93. Kobe Bryant led the way for the Los Angeles Lakers with 27 points. Lamar Odom who is a possible sixth man of a year candidate added 23 points. Pau Gasol added a double double with 17 points and 17 rebounds. As for the San Antonio Spurs they didn't start Tim Duncan, Tony Parker or Manu Ginobili to rest them for the playoffs. The Spurs scoring was led by possible rookie of the year Gary Neal with 16 points, Matt Bonner added 13 points and DeJuan Blair added 12 points. The Los Angeles Lakers improved to 56-25 with the win while the San Antonio Spurs dropped to 61-20 with the loss. Both the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs have played great basketball this year. Congratulations to both the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers for making the playoffs.
