Derrick Rose scores 36 points to help Bulls take game 2 from Pacers

Wow did anyone watch game 2 of the Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers game on TNT? This game was intense. Both the Pacers and the Bulls were battling hard. I loved it and it was close. I actually thought the Pacers were going to take this game when I first watched it. Then the Chicago Bulls down the stretch with the help of Derrick Rose scoring 36 points helped the Bulls defeated the Pacers 96-90. Derrick Rose had 36 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Carlos Boozer stepped up his game in game 2 and had a double double. He scored 17 points and pulled down 16 rebounds. Luol Deng added 14 points and 6 rebounds. For the Indiana Pacers Danny Granger led the way with 19 points and 4 assists on 7 out of 14 shooting. There was a few times in the game where guys were open and Granger took the shots himself. He should have passed off to his teammates on some of those plays. In the second quarter point guard Darren Collison sprained his ankle and came down nearly upon the camera man. So to come in for him was backup point guard AJ Price. I felt AJ Price didn't disappoint as he added 13 points in over 24 minutes of playing time. I do have to talk about one play of the game. At the end of the third quarter third string point guard TJ Ford hit a 3 point shot to end the quarter to tie the game at 67. In spite I was rooting for the Bulls it was an awesome shot and I didn't expect it to go in. Jeff Foster added 9 points and 4 rebounds on 4 of 5 shooting in over 17 minutes. This was a good win for the Bulls. If they want to win this series they are going to have to go to Indiana and play hard. I feel the Pacers are going to be pumped up in game 3 to try and win that game because the Pacers backs are to the wall. Congratulations to the Chicago Bulls for a good win and thank you for reading my NBA Blog. Send me your comments and come be a part of the conversation.
