Chicago Bulls defeat the Boston Celtics to pull closer to top seed

The Chicago Bulls have been playing amazing basketball this year. Derrick Rose better known as D-Rose has been an amazing athlete. When Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah was injured Rose carried this team to victory. D-Rose did it again Thursday night against the Boston Celtics by scoring 30 points and 8 assists in a 97-81 victory over Boston. Boston needs to win the next four games and Chicago needs to lose all four games for Boston to be tied with Chicago in the top seed. Luol Deng another player who has done well for the Bulls and should be a candidate for most improved player added 23 points, Carlos Boozer added a double double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. As for the Boston Celtics Paul Pierce led with 15 points. Jeff Green and Kevin Garnett added 10 points a piece. I did think that the beginning of the season it was going to be a Boston Celtics VS Los Angeles Lakers rematch in the finals. Now I think since Boston traded off Kendrick Perkins my thinking is shifting towards Chicago Bulls VS Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals. The Bulls magic number is now down to 1. With either a Bulls win or a Celtics loss the Bulls clinch the top spot in the eastern conference. Congratulations to the Chicago Bulls for a great season so far.
