Cousins buzzer beater leads to Kings win over Suns

The season started out good for the Kings at 9-5.  Coach Mike Malone was fired later on.  Tyrone Corbin has taken over and this team just hasn't been the same.  I am glad that Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will be in the 2015 NBA All-Star Game replacing Kobe Bryant.  He deserves it and congratulations to Cousins for a great season.  I admit I'm fearful that if the Kings don't start having some winning seasons, that Cousins will leave when he becomes a free agent.  In spite all of that,  last night with the game tied at 83,  with time about to expire DeMarcus Cousins hits a game winning jumper that bounces around the rim, to lead the Kings to an 85-83 win over the Phoenix Suns.   DeMarcus Cousins lead the way for the Kings with 28 points and 12 rebounds.  Second year player and shooting guard Ben McLemore scored 13 points, Ramon Sessions added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.   I'm hoping that either the Kings make a strong comeback for the second half of the season, or just try and get a great lottery pick, maybe Texas big man Myles Turner who I think would fit great next to Cousins.

For the Phoenix Suns they are 29-24 and sitting in the 8th spot in the Western Conference.  Isaiah Thomas lead the way for the Suns with 26 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Goran Dragic added 13 points, 5 assists and 3 steals.    Here are the double digit scorers breakdown for each team.

Sacramento Kings Double-Digit Scorers

DeMarcus Cousins- 28 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 assists, 13/25 FG, 2/4 FT
Ben McLemore- 13 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 4/12 FG, 3/8 3PTFG, 2/2 FT
Ramon Sessions- 10 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 4/5 FG, 2/5 FT

Phoenix Suns Double-Digit Scorers

Isaiah Thomas- 26 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 8/17 FG, 7/9 FT, 3/9 3PTFG
Goran Dragic- 13 points, 5 assists, 3 steals, 6/13 FG, 1/2 FT, 0/2 3PTFG

Congratulations to the Sacramento on an amazing win and buzzer beater by DeMarcus Cousins.  Send me your thoughts on what you think about this game and any other game.
