Kevin Martin scores 30 to lead Timberwolves to win over Heat

The Minnesota Timberwolves entered into this game with the worst record in the NBA at 8-40.  Miami Heat haven't been that good this season with a 21-27 record entering this game.   I'm suspecting that Minnesota will have a top 4 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.  Time to start looking at center Jakill Okafor out of Duke,  point guard Emmanuel Mudiay,  small forward Stanley Johnson out of Arizona or power forward Myles Turner out of Texas.  I think the T-Wolves need Okafor or Turner in the worst way.  The season isn't over yet, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for the rest of this season.  The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Miami Heat 102-101.  Shooting guard Kevin Martin lead the way with 30 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds.  Thaddeus Young added 16 points and 5 steals. Here are the top statistics and statistical breakdowns for each team.

I do believe though that the future will be bright for Minnesota.  The Timberwolves have some good pieces on this team with Andrew Wiggins, Shabazz Muhammad, Gorgui Dieng, and will more than likely have a top 5 draft pick.  What are your thoughts on this win? What are your thoughts about this season after almost 50 games?   Send me your comments. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
