30 Days 30 Grades: Day 8: Northwest Division Western Conference Denver Nuggets Off-Season Grade

Welcome to day 8 of my 30 day blog series 30 Days 30 Grades.  Today we are going to talk about Western Conference Northwest Division Denver Nuggets.   I will give my off-season grade below,  I will then talk about the players the Nuggets added through the draft, free agency, trades or claimed off of waivers.  I will also talk about the players that are subtracted meaning they were traded away, lost to free agency or waived/amnestied.





Denver Nuggets Off-Season Grade:  B+





Denver Nuggets Players Added:  Gary Harris, Nikola Jokic, Jusuf Nurkic, Arron Afflalo








Denver Nuggets Players Subtracted:   Aaron Brooks, Evan Fournier, Anthony Randolph

Why did I give the Denver Nuggets a B+?  I feel that getting Gary Harris was a solid pickup.  This team needs a shooting guard who can score. I believe Harris will bring that to the table for the Nuggets.   I like the fact that they brought back Arron Afflalo. Afflalo is a solid defender who can knock the three pointer.   I don't know much about Nikola Jokic or Jusuf Nurkic to make any comments about them.  I couldn't give them an A because, while they had a solid off-season, I didn't feel it was A worthy.  Could the Nuggets make the playoffs in a tough Western Conference?  I think it is possible.  What grade would you have given the Denver Nuggets this off-season?
