30 Days 30 Grades: Day 10: Pacific Division Golden State Warriors Off-Season Grade

Welcome to Day 10 of the 30 day blog series titled "30 Days 30 Grades".  Today we are on Day 10, being 1/3 of the way done to a grade given for all 30 NBA teams.  We are going to talk about the off-season of the Pacific Division Western Conference Golden State Warriors.   Here are the four things that I"m going to do, 1) First I am going to give my off-season grade , 2) I will talk about the players that are added to the Warriors whether it be through a trade, drafted or free agency, 3) Players that are subtracted from the team whether it be through trade, or lost to another team in free agency, 4)  I will talk about the reason why I gave the Golden State Warriors the off-season grade I gave them.

Golden State Warriors Off-Season Grade:  B

Warriors Players Added: Aaron Craft, Shawn Livingston, James McAdoo, Brandon Rush, Mitchell Watt

Warriors Players Subtracted:  Steve Blake, Hilton Armstrong

Why did I give the Golden State Warriors a B for the off-season?   I didn't think it was super enough to give them an A.  I don't think it was terrible to give them a D or F.   I like the pickup of Shawn Livingston because he gives the Warriors some size on the floor.  Livingston is 6 foot 7, so you could play him at the point, two guard, small forward, or if you really wanted to go small you could try him at the power forward position.  What I got to watch of Aaron Craft in college I think he is a solid player.  I like Brandon Rush because he can defend and knock down some three's.  Injuries have been the issue for Brandon Rush.  The only subtraction that bothers me is the loss of Steve Blake, but I think they made up for it.  What grade would you have given the Golden State Warriors for their off-season? Send me your comments on this. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. Their is a tickets page on my blog that if you haven't had the chance to purchase your places to sit for the Warriors game that you can today.
