Doc Rivers get a five year 50 million dollar extension with the L.A. Clippers

Doc Rivers is one of the best coaches in the NBA to me.  Rivers is my favorite coach.  Yesterday it was noted that new Clippers owner Steve Ballmer signed coach Doc Rivers to a five year 50 million extension.  The Clippers are one of my favorite teams in the NBA, and as a fan who enjoys them,  I love this.  I love the moves they made in the off-season especially adding Spencer Hawes to give this team some more depth at the power forward and the center position. Rivers was great when he was on the Celtics.  5 years for coach Doc Rivers to try and get the Clippers a title.  I believe that he will help the Clippers win at least 1, I'll go even bolder and say that the Clippers will win 2 titles in the next 5 years.  What do you think about this extension that Doc Rivers got?  Would you have given him one?  Do you think he is the best coach in the NBA?   Send me your comments on this and thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
