2014 NBA Finals Game 4: The Spurs take a 3-1 series lead behind Kwahi Leonard double-double

How many of you watch game 4 of the 2014 NBA Finals last night on ABC? What did you see?  I seen one team come out hungry wanting game 4 as much as they did game 3, the other team looked fatigued.   The team I'm talking about that was hungry was the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs put on another offensive clinic in Miami last night by shooting 57 percent.  The Spurs out rebounded the Miami Heat 44-27.  The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Miami Heat 107-86 to take a 3-1 series lead in these 2014 NBA Finals.  For the first time since the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals, the Miami Heat lost back to back post season games.  The San Antonio Spurs are showing America how basketball is to be played.  Basketball is a team sport, and a we sport not a me sport.   The Spurs are a high class organization who play unselfish, and knows how to move the basketball.  They have three big men who know how to pass the ball well.  The three big men I'm talking about are Tim Duncan, Boris Diaw and Tiago Splitter.  When you have big men who pass the ball like they do, it's hard to stop them.  Take a look at the top scorers for each team.

Top 5 San Antonio Spurs Scorers

  1. Kwahi Leonard- 20 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 3 blocks, 7/12 FG, 5/6 FT, 1/3 3PTFG
  2. Tony Parker- 19 points, 2 assists, 8/15 FG, 3/4 FT, 0/2 3PTFG
  3. Patty Mills- 14 points, 2 assists, 5/8 FG, 4/6 3PTFG
  4. Tim Duncan- 10 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 assists, 4/10 FG, 2/2 FT, 0/1 3PTFG
  5. Daniel Green- 9 points, 3 rebounds, 3/5 FG, 3/5 3PTFG

Other important stat for the San Antonio Spurs is Boris Diaw scored 8 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.

Top 5 Miami Heat Scorers

  1. Lebron James- 28 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 10/17 FG, 4/8 3PTFG, 4/6 FT
  2. Chris Bosh- 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 5/11 FG, 2/2 FT, 0/1 3PTFG
  3. James Jones- 11 points, 4/4 FG, 3/3 3PTFG,
  4. Dwyane Wade- 10 points, 4 assists, 4 steals, 2 rebounds, 3/13 FG, 4/8 FT
  5. Ray Allen- 8 points, 2 rebounds, 3/6 FG, 2/4 3PTFG

The Miami Heat are going to have to give their A game for the next three games or it will be over for them.   You have got to crash the boards better if you Miami.  Miami is a terrible rebounding team.  I think you've got to inject Udonis Haslem into the starting lineup for game 5.  You have to try something different in the starting lineup.  Another idea is try Toney Douglas as the starter.  I think the starting five for Miami to shake things up should be Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem, Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Toney Douglas.  At this point you have to try something else, because what you've done the last two games hasn't work.   As for the San Antonio Spurs, having Kwahi Leonard attack the basket is genius.  At 22 years old small forward Kwahi Leonard is defending Lebron the best I've ever seen.  I think Leonard is the best defender against Lebron.   What are your thoughts on this game?
