Last night the L.A. Clippers found a way to win by beating the struggling Detroit Pistons 104-98. Sixth man of the year candidate Jamal Crawford lead the way for the Clips with 25 points and 4 assists. Pass-First NBA point guard Chris Paul added 23 points and 7 assists. At 9-5 the Clippers are sitting in the 7th seed in the tough Western Conference. If playoffs were today, they would be playing there rival the Golden State Warriors. I feel that the Clippers need an upgrade defensively at the small forward position. I think they should try and go for Corey Brewer of the Minnesota Timberwolves if they can get him. The Clippers are currently 9th in scoring in the NBA at 103.3 points per game, but are 12 th in giving up 100.3 points per game. This team needs a defensive identity.
