Last night the Memphis Grizzlies improve to 13-2 which is tied with the Toronto Raptors for the best record in the NBA right now. The Grizzlies are the top team in the Western Conference, by beating the Los Angeles Lakers 99-93. Marc Gasol achieved a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Michael Conley also added 19 points and 7 assists. Here are the stats for each team.

Last year, had Marc Gasol been healthy most of the season, I feel the Grizzlies would have been a 3 or a 4 seed. Gasol to me is a top five center in the NBA today. This team has an identity and I feel they want to win a championship. The playoffs are extremely tough in the Western Conference. The Memphis Grizzlies have three solid defensive players on the wing with Tony Allen, Tayshaun Prince and Courtney Lee. Courtney Lee has been getting it done offensively this year, Lee is shooting 52 percent from the field, and 56 percent from three. Courtney Lee is averaging 13.5 points per game and over 3 rebounds a game. I think so far from the Western Conference you have to vote Marc Gasol and DeMarcus Cousins as two of your guys in the front court for the All-Star game. What are your thoughts on this 99-93 win?
