Kawhi Leonard Wins Finals MVP: Spurs win their 5th title since 1999

Congratulations to the San Antonio Spurs on winning the 2014 NBA Finals in 5 games over the Miami Heat.  The San Antonio Spurs are a high class organization.  I admire the Spurs because they play selfless basketball.  More people should watch videos on how they play and implement their team around them.  Kawhi Leonard last night in San Antonio at the A T &T Center won the NBA Finals MVP Award.  He is the third youngest player to accomplish this. The other two players are Magic Johnson, and San Antonio Spurs teammate and one of the greatest power forwards in NBA history Tim Duncan.   Leonard averaged 61 percent shooting from the field in the 2014 NBA Finals.  In the last three games Kawhi Leonard averaged 23.7 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game.  During the regular season Leonard shot 52.2 percent from the field and almost 38 percent from three point land.  I loved the defense they played on Lebron James.  If Lebron blew by Leonard then Tim Duncan or Tiago Splitter were waiting at the rim.   The Miami Heat at one point lead 22-6.  I respect how hard the Spurs fought back, and the dunk Manu Ginobili had on Chris Bosh.  Later you will see highlights below, and note I don't own the video, I just wanted to share these highlights for all my readers.   Tim Duncan has now won 5 NBA Titles, and is tied with Los Angeles Lakers superstar shooting guard Kobe Bryant.  If Duncan wins next year he will be tied with Michael Jordan for having 6 rings.  Tim Duncan has to be considered one of the greatest NBA power forwards of all time.   The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Miami Heat 104-87 to win the season series 4 games to 1.   Here are the top 5 scorers for each team.
