Pacers magic number to clinch top seed is 1: West has great shooting game: Stephenson acquires a triple-double
The Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers have been battling back and forth for the top seed. Since the Heat lost to the Atlanta Hawks, and the Pacers defeated the Thunder the magic number for the Indiana Pacers to clinch the top seed in the Eastern Conference is one. The Indiana Pacers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 102-97. Power forward David West lead the way for the Pacers with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 9 of 11 shooting. Paul George achieved double-double stature by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. George shot 3 of 6 from three point land. Point guard CJ Watson scored 20 points on 4 of 7 shooting from downtown. Lance Stephenson achieved triple-double status. Stephenson scored 17 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds and shot 70 percent or (7-10 FG) from the field. Back up center Ian Mahinmi added 11 points and 5 rebounds in 20 minutes of playing time. Pacers fans how do you feel about this win? Will the Pacers clinch the top seed? How far will the Indiana Pacers go in the 2014 NBA Playoffs? Send me your comments on that here on the blog or at my forum (http://probasketballhoops.boardhost.com). For the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant lead the way with 38 points and 4 rebounds on 13 of 27 shooting. Athletic superstar Russell Westbrook scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Caron Butler scored 13 points, 3 steals and had 6 of 10 shooting in 30 minutes of playing time. Power forward Serge Ibaka added 11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 steals.
