Mozgov pulls down career high 29 rebounds: Faried hits game winning jumper to lead Nuggets over Warriors

I will never understand why the Denver Nuggets fired coach George Karl. I feel sorry for the Nuggets because of all the injuries they have suffered this season. I wish I would have stayed up for this game because it was an exciting one to miss. The Denver Nuggets defeated the Golden State Warriors 100-99. Center Timofey Mozgov did something that only one other player in this century has done, he scored 23 points, pulled down 29 rebounds, blocked 3 shots and had 3 assists while shooting 10 of 15 from the field. The last player to score at least 23 points and pull down 29 rebounds was Minnesota all star power forward Kevin Love on November 12,2010, when he scored 31 points and pulled down 31 rebounds. I think that big man Mozgov played great last night. Mozgov is an underrated center. Would you agree with me on that? Randy Foye scored 20 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds. High energy power forward Kenneth Faried scored 18 points and pulled down 17 rebounds. Faried hit a game winning jumper with less than a second left to help the Nuggets win. Darrell Arthur added 10 points on 2 of 4 shooting from downtown in over 20 minutes of playing time. The Denver Nuggets out rebounded the Golden State Warriors 63-38 on the boards. For the Golden State Warriors, point guard and three point shooter Stephen Curry lead the way with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and shot 2 of 7 from three point land. Klay Thompson the other splash brother scored 21 points on 3 of 6 shooting from downtown. Jermaine O Neal scored 12 points and 5 rebounds.
