Anthony Davis scores 40 to lead Pelicans to overtime win over Celtics

What can you say about Anthony Davis that hasn't already been said. I think he is becoming a top 5 power forward in the NBA. I would build my franchise around him. I hope the New Orleans Pelicans put a lot more talent around him to convince him to stay. Last night Anthony Davis was the youngest player since Shaquille O Neal to scored at least 40 points and 20 rebounds. The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Boston Celtics 121-120 in overtime. Anthony Davis lead the way with 40 points, 21 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks on 14 of 22 shooting. Tyreke Evans scored 26 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Eric Gordon scored 19 ponts, 8 assists and 3 rebounds. Brian Roberts added 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. I think when point guard Jrue Holiday comes back this team will be even more exciting than they are now. Even though Anthony Davis is not on my favorite team which is the Boston Celtics , I find it hard for me to route against him. Power Forward out of the University of Kentucky is an amazing and incredible athlete. I can't wait to see how he is going to be in his prime. For the Boston Celtics Jeff Green lead the way with 39 points, 6 rebounds and had 12 of 23 shooting. Kris Humphries achieved a double-double. Humphries scored 16 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 assists. Jared Sullinger scored 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks. Avery Bradley added 12 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds. What did you think of the performance of Anthony Davis last night? Do the Pelicans have the best talent around him right now? If not who should they realistically trade for? Who would you like to see the Boston Celtics draft in the 2014 NBA Draft? Send me your comments on this. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
