Thornton's 24 bench points lead Sacramento Kings to a 107-86 victory over the Brooklyn Nets

I am disappointed with the play of Ben McLemore last night. He only played 14 minutes, and shot a horrible 1 out of 8 from the field for 2 points. So to come in his place was veteran two guard Marcus Thornton. Thornton I felt played great. He scored 24 points, pulled down 4 rebounds, shot 10 of 19 from the field, and shot 4 of 9 from downtown. Thornton's 24 points helped the Kings defeat the Nets 107-86. 60th pick point guard, Isaiah Thomas scored 19 points, 6 assists, and pulled down 6 boards. Greivis Vasquez obtained double-double status with 17 points and 12 assists. Center DeMarcus Cousins came close to a double-double with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Cousins also had 3 blocks. For the Brooklyn Nets Brook Lopez lead the way with 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Deron Williams scored 13 points, and 7 assists. Shaun Livingston the six foot seven point guard added 13 points off the bench. Paul Pierce added 12 points and 9 rebounds. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. How impressed were you with Thornton? Send me your thoughts on this game whether you're a Kings or Nets fan.
