Is Blake Griffin Soft?

Blake Griffin the first pick of the 2009 NBA Draft is an amazing athlete no doubt about it. He has been on many commericals for Kia Automobiles and Gamefly the place you can rent video games. What I am asking you is this is Blake Griffin soft? My opinion on this is yes. I do love that he is box office material and can dunk out of the gym. I am concerned though about his defensive play. I am hoping and praying that ex Celtics coach now Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers can turn Blake Griffin into a defensive animal. Griffin the 6 foot 10 power forward does have some athleticism but needs to get better on the defensive end. I also would like to see him hit more shots from 15-20 feet out. I do think Blake is a great athlete and an amazing basketball player. I don't really though think Blake Griffin is a great defender. Teams and players I do feel know this and can come at him on the offensive end. If Blake can step up his defensive intensity this season then him and amazing superstar point guard Chris Paul can be an amazing 1-2 punch for the Clippers. I do believe though that the Clippers will finish in the top 3 in the Western Conference this NBA Season. I do believe though that Doc Rivers will teach Blake defense. So what do you believe?
