Dear Los Angeles Lakers what are you doing?
I will be honest I am not the biggest L.A. Lakers fan although Kobe is a great athlete. I am sitting here and thinking what are the Los Angeles Lakers doing? This team to me doesn't look like a championship team at all. I know they lost Dwight Howard to free agency. I even thought last year like alot of people Lakers had a great shot at possibly going to the finals with having Howard, Gasol, Metta World Peace, Kobe and Nash. Lakers looked great on paper last year . The first half of the season to me the savior was Earl Clark. I think it was a mistake not bringing him back and too focused on trying to lure Dwight in. I'm also been sitting here and pondering why you haven't try to at least give a 1 year offer to Lamar Odom. I felt that Odom was one of your best players. Since Odom has been to Dallas he just isn't the same player. I think that has to do with not being happy where you're playing. I think bringing back Odom would be a good thing. Odom is a power forward who has amazing ball handling skills which is one of the things that impresses me about him. I don't think adding Odom would bring a championship but could help with their offense more. I'm not saying some of the offmove seasons they made were bad but I question them. They signed Chris Kaman, Nick Young, Wesley Johnson and brought back Jordan Farmar. I don't think that the Lakers are going to be a top team this year. There is the possibly they may make the 2014 NBA Playoffs but it would be a 7 or 8 seed if so. I don't feel they are going for the Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, Marcus Smart sweepstakes, but would it be really bad if they were? So can any L.A. Lakers fan give me some insight on what they are doing this season to put a championship team on the floor? I just don't see it.
