Bye Bye Lakers
Sunday Evening the Los Angeles Lakers playoff birth ended. The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 103-82 to win the season series 4-0 over the Los Angeles Lakers. Tony Parker lead the way for the San Antonio Spurs with 23 points. Parker also had 4 assists and 3 rebounds to go with the 23 points. Kwahi Leonard scored 13 points, pulled down 7 rebounds and had 3 steals. DeJuan Blair added 13 points and 5 rebounds off the bench. Tim Duncan scored 11 points and had 6 rebounds. Gary Neal added 11 off of the bench. Congratulations to the San Antonio Spurs on a season series sweep well done. For the Los Angeles Lakers Pau Gasol lead the way with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Andrew Goudelock scored 14 points and had 4 assists. Antawn Jamison added 12 points and rebounds off the bench. The Los Angeles Lakers season is over and I wondered how this series would have gone had Kobe Bryant been playing. Kobe is what pumps this team up and this team didn't play like they were pumped up at all in this series. Will Dwight Howard stay with the Los Angeles Lakers next season? Or will Dwight go to some other team like Dallas, Brooklyn, Houston? Who knows but stay tuned to this off season and thank you for reading my NBA Blog.
