Rubio gets first career triple double as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeat the San Antonio Spurs

Ricky Rubio what an amazing athlete. In my opinion he is the best passing point guard in the game. Last night he got his first triple double as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the San Antonio Spurs 107-83. Rubio scored 21 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and had 12 assists. J.J. Barea shined off the bench with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Alexey Shved was also another bright spot off the bench as Shved scored 16 points and had 7 assists. Kevin Love is still out with surgery on his right hand. I really feel that if Love was playing this team would be winning and would be in the playoff hunt. For the San Antonio Spurs there leading scorer was Cory Joseph who scored 15 points and shot 5 out of 9 from the field. Stephen Jackson added 14 points and 5 rebounds.
