Lakers victory over Bulls moves Lakers past Jazz for 8th seed in the West

The Los Angeles Lakers starting the season had trouble putting things together. 22 games ago there record was 17-25. Sunday afternoon everything changed for the Los Angeles Lakers as they defeated the Chicago Bulls 90-81. The win yesterday moved the Lakers into the 8th spot in the Western Conference and a 1/2 game ahead of the Utah Jazz. Kobe Bryant lead the way with 19 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Dwight Howard scored 16 points, pulled down 21 rebounds and had 4 blocks. Steve Nash added 16 points and 4 assists. The Lakers are 16-6 in their last 22 games. The Lakers record now is 33-31. For The Chicago Bulls Nate Robinson led the Bulls with 19 points and 8 assists. Joakim Noah scored 18 points, had 17 rebounds and 3 blocks. Carlos Boozer added a double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. I feel that while the Bulls play solid defense they just don't have the offense running with Derrick Rose who I hope comes back soon.
