Thunder clinch a playoff spot
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Portland Trailblazers 99-90 to clinch a playoff spot for the second year in a row. Russell Westbrook led the Thunder in scoring with 28 points and hit 4 shots from downtown. Kevin Durant added 21 points, Serge Ibaka added 18 points. I wanted to add that Kendrick Perkins who came over from Boston in the Jeff Green trade had 6 points and 10 rebounds in over 31 minutes of playing time. For the Trailblazers Gerald Wallace who came over from the Bobcats led the Blazers with 40 points and shot 16 out of 28 from the field in 45 minutes of playing time. LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 in 44 minutes of playing time. The win for the Thunder improves there record to 48-24 and clinched them a playoff spot. The Trailblazers record drops to 42-31. Up next for the Trailblazers they take on the Spurs who have lost 3 games in a row while the Thunder next take on the Golden State Warriors.
