Knicks finally win one against the Magic

The New York Knicks finally got a victory after losing six straight games. They defeated the Orlando Magic in overtime 113-106. I was actually impressed with most of the highlights I seen earlier tonight. There was one highlight though I wasn't impressed with. Towards the end of the game Carmelo Anthony had the ball and Amare Stoudemire was open in the lane. Melo took the ball and tried to score himself and almost had a tipback to win it in regulation. I really felt that Melo should have passed the ball to Amare in that situation. On the positive note though was that the Knicks got the win. Melo scored 39 points and had 10 rebounds. Amare scored 20 points and had 9 rebounds. Chauncey Billups added 17 points had 6 assists and 6 rebounds. There was one play where all five guys from the Knicks got back on defense. This needs to happen alot more often if the Knicks want to keep winning. For the Orlando Magic Dwight Howard led the Magic with 29 points and 18 rebounds and Jason Richardson added 24 points. Richardson hit a 3 pointer in regulation to send the game into overtime. Good win for the Knicks. I have one piece of advice for the Knicks share the ball alot more. Melo doesn't need to be jacking up 26 shots where Amare only had 10 shots. Melo should have only jacked up 18-20 so that Amare could have had 16-18. In the beginning of the year I was leaning towards Amare Stoudemire for MVP but after the Melo trade I see someone else more deserving of it which is D-Rose of the Bulls. With the victory for the Knicks they improve there record to 36-38 while the Magic drop to 47-27. The Knicks currently hold the 7th seed in the east while the Magic hold the 4th seed.
