Mo Williams scores career high 52 points to lead Timberwolves to win over Pacers

During the off-season, the Minnesota signed veteran point guard Mo Williams to a contract.  I personally have always like his game, especially his days with Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was the second best player on that Cavs team.  Tonight and this season Mo Williams is playing for the Western Conference Minnesota Timberwolves.   Williams is starting in place of pass-first point guard Ricky Rubio who is out with injuries.  Mo Williams put on a performance tonight in Banker's Life Field House in Indianapolis Indiana.  Williams scored a career high 52 points on 33 shots, to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 110-101 over the Indiana Pacers.  You have to be impressed with the performance of point guard Williams not only hitting 19 shots, but 6 three's to go along with that. Rookie Andrew Wiggins added 20 points.  Here are the statistics for each team.

At 6-31,  I don't want the Minnesota Timberwolves to give up.  I feel that this franchise deserves a number one pick, and have been robbed for many years of that.  I would like to see this team be able to draft either Jahill Okafor out of Duke or Myles Turner out of Texas.   Turner could play some power forward, he can shoot the three and defend.  I would love to see Pek or Dieng and Turner on the court.   Andrew Wiggins is starting to step up his game.  I am liking Wiggins for Rookie of the Year.  I also enjoy the performance tonight of Mo Williams. I feel this is a great signing.   What are your thoughts on Mo Williams career night performance? Send me your comments. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. This is the place where you can read articles, send comments or purchase Minnesota Timberwolves merchandise either on the left side of my blog, or sometimes below my articles.    I hope your 2015 is off to a great start so far.
