Hawks win 11th straight game by beating the Raptors: A Look back at the previous ten wins

Be honest, how many of you this season had the Atlanta Hawks being a top seeded team in the Eastern Conference this season.   I'll be honest I didn't even have them making the playoffs.  I have always found them the last few years to be a middle of the road team.  You either get the 7th or 8th seed and bounced out of the first round.  The options were 1) Play better to knock out a top seed, 2) Live with your seed to only get knocked out or 3)  Stink up the joint and tear down the team by trading everyone.  It's a great thing they didn't do number 3.  Who would have thought that after 40 games they'd be 32-8.  I didn't.  I under estimated this team.  Now I have this team going to at least the very worst the Conference Finals.    I am wanting an Atlanta Hawks VS San Antonio Spurs NBA Finals, because I want to see basketball played the right way, as a team moving the ball from side to side making sure almost everyone gets to touch the basketball.   Last night the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Toronto Raptors 110-89 to win their 11th straight game of the season.  Here is the statistical breakdown for each team for that game which includes the top five scorers for Hawks and Raptors, plus other stats.

The Last time the Atlanta Hawks Lost was on December 26 to the Milwaukee Bucks 107-77.  The Atlanta Hawks only have three losses since November 26.  Coach Mike Budenholzer deserves to win Coach Of The Year.  If he doesn't get it I will be shocked. I am glad that ESPN is finally showing the Hawks a little respect by showing them play the Detroit Pistons on Monday.  I am saddened by the fact that I'll be at work during that time, but am glad that other people will get to watch it.  I enjoyed Al Horford in college when he was on the Florida Gators.  I knew when the Hawks drafted him they were going to get an incredible player.  Congratulations to the Atlanta Hawks on being 32-8, and riding an 11 game winning streak.  Let's take a look back at the last ten wins by the Hawks, and who there leading scorers was.

So what are your thoughts about this season so far?   I feel the Atlanta Hawks should be having at least two players in the 2015 All Star Game, but personally I feel that three players in my eyes are worthy of it.  The three players who I feel should be in it from the Atlanta Hawks are Al Horford, Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague.   Send me your comments about this 11 game winning streak, or any memories you have at being at an Atlanta Hawks.
