Pro Basketball Hoops Land: Dirk scores 30: Chandler pulls down 25 rebounds to lead Mavs to overtime win over Knicks

Did anyone watch the game tonight on ESPN between the New York Knicks and the Dallas Mavericks? I did, and I found it entertaining. I thought the Knicks were going to get blown out, but they actually played competitive. It was an exciting and enjoyable game from both teams. It took until overtime for a victory to happen, but the Dallas Mavericks defeated the New York Knicks in overtime 109-102. Dirk Nowitzki lead the way with 30 points and 6 rebounds. Tyson Chandler scored 17 points and pulled down an amazing 25 rebounds. Here are the stats for both teams.

Watching this game was like watching a cat fight. I admit I didn't know who was going to win. J.R. Smith hit a huge basket to send the game into overtime, when J.R. Smith stunk up the joint most of the game. One of the pieces that we traded to the New York Knicks almost burned us, point guard Jose Calderon hitting 7 three's. Tyson Chandler was beasting and feasting on the boards. The Mavericks were impressive in the fact that they forced the New York Knicks to commit 21 turnovers while the Mavs only committing 11. Dirk showing us and everyone else who watched why he is the greatest international scorer in NBA history. Dirk is my favorite power forward in the NBA, and to me has redefined the position being a 7 footer who can shoot the three. What are your thoughts about this game? What did you like about it?
