Tony Parker scores 33 to lead Spurs to game 1 win over Blazers

Is Tony Parker to you a top 5 point guard in the NBA? To me he is. I have him as the second best point guard behind Chris Paul. Last night Parker showed why he is a top 5 point guard in the NBA. The San Antonio Spurs take game 1 over the Portland Trailblazers 116-92. Top 5 NBA point guard lead the way with 33 points, 9 assists, 3 rebounds and shot 13 of 24 from the field. Marco Belinelli scored 19 points, 3 rebounds and shot 3 of 5 from three point land. Incredible small forward defender Kwahi Leonard scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Tim Duncan scored 12 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks. Aron Baynes scored 10 points and 7 rebounds in 14 minutes and 54 seconds off the bench. Patrick Mills added 10 points on 3 of 5 shooting. What did you think of game 1 performance by Tony Parker? If Parker plays like this the series will be over quickly. What did you think of Belinelli adding 19 points, and Kwahi Leonard having 16 points and 4 steals. Send me your comments on this.

For the Portland Trailblazers, all star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge scored 32 points, 14 rebounds, 2 steals and had 12 of 25 shooting. Clutch point guard Damian Lillard scored 17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and had 6 of 15 shooting. Big man Robin Lopez added 10 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks. The Blazers better find an answer for Tony Parker, or they will lose this series in a hurry. I think the Blazers need to keep Tony Parker out of the lane, and make him shoot jumpers.
