Knicks get win over Nets: Knicks move into 8th seed in the Eastern Conference

The New York Knicks have had an up and down season. I blame their season on injuries. Now that you have the full squad back, I feel we are now capable of seeing what the New York Knicks are made of. I am impressed with the Knicks, especially in their last 15 games when they've gone 12-3. The New York Knicks defeated the Brooklyn Nets last night 110-81. The Knicks have moved into the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. Two guard J.R. Smith lead the way for the New York Knicks with 24 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and shot 6 of 12 from three point land. J.R. Smith started the game fired up. I felt like I was starting to see the J.R. Smith of last year again, and I was loving it. Carmelo Anthony scored 23 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and had 8 of 16 shooting from the field. Rookie shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 17 points, and had 7 of 10 shooting in 27 minutes of action. Amare Stoudemire scored 13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 assists. When Amare is healthy he is one of the best power forwards in the NBA. I want to see stat remain healthy. Iman Shumpert was playing incredible on defense last night. The defensive shooting guard Iman Shumpert scored 10 points, 5 steals, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. The New York Knicks shot 60 percent for the game. This to me was the best game I've seen all season. Would you agree or disagree with me on this statement? What did you think of the defensive of Iman Shumpert last night? Is Tim Hardaway Jr. your candidate for rookie of the year?

For the Brooklyn Nets, Joe Johnson lead the way with 16 points, 2 steals and had 5 of 13 shooting from the field. Deron Williams scored 12 points. The Nets shot 40 percent for the game. It looked like that Brooklyn didn't show up to play last night. What do you think about this? Send me your thoughts on this game or any other game. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
