Jodie Meeks scores a career high 42 points to help Lakers overtake the Thunder
I am glad that I don't gamble. I told someone yesterday that if I were to gamble, I would have put $50 down on the Oklahoma City Thunder defeating the Los Angeles Lakers yesterday. What I watched yesterday surprised me. Jodie Meeks was incredibly impressive yesterday. Meeks scored a career high 42 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers defeat top Western Conference NBA team Oklahoma City Thunder 114-110. Meeks added 4 steals, 2 rebounds, shot 11 of 18 from the field and knocked down 6 out of 11 from three point land. Pau Gasol added a double-double. Pau scored 20 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists. Ryan Kelly scored 12 points, 8 rebounds, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. Jordan Farmar added 12 points and 3 assists. Congratulations to the Los Angeles Lakers on a well deserved win. Who should the Los Angeles Lakers draft in the 2014 NBA Draft? Send me your thoughts on that. For the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant lead the way with a triple-double. Durant scored 27 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. KD shot 8 of 19 from the field. Serge Ibaka scored 21 points, 15 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Russell Westbrook scored 20 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Reggie Jackson added 14 ponits, 9 rebounds and 2 steals. In spite the Thunder lost, how impressed were you with Kevin Durant's triple double? Is Kevin Durant your MVP this season? Will the OKC Thunder make it to the 2014 NBA Finals? If not who do you think in the Western Conference will? Send me your thoughts on this. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
