Is Anthony Davis a top 5 Power Forward? Pelicans defeat Heat behind Davis scoring 30
I want to ask you a question. Do you think Anthony Davis is a top 5 power forward in the NBA today? Davis is only 20 years old. If he remains healthy I say watch out. Davis reminds me of a young Tim Duncan or KG. Last night the New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Miami Heat 105-95. Anthony Davis lead the way for the Pelicans with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals. Davis is a two way power forward. He's a beast on the offensive end and the defensive end. Tyreke Evans scored 16 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Al-Farouq Aminu scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Luke Babbitt scored 11 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and shot 3 of 8 from three point land. Anthony Morrow added 10 points and 4 rebounds on 2 of 3 shooting from downtown. The New Orleans Pelicans improve to 29-40. I think if they get a full and healthy squad next season they will make the playoffs. Do you agree or disagree with that statement? For the Miami Heat who are 4-7 in their last 11 games, Lebron James lead the way with 25 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds and shot 10 of 18 from the field. Point guard Mario Chalmers scored 19 points and 7 assists. Chris Bosh added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists on 5 of 10 shooting. Do you think the Miami Heat will 3-peat? Do you think they are waiting for the 2014 NBA Playoffs to turn up the Heat on teams? Pelicans fan what did you think of this game? Send me your thoughts.
