Bulls defeat Heat in overtime: Augustin and Noah shine again
I am impressed with the play of the Chicago Bulls. Yesterday with the game tied Lebron was going to the hoop to try and win the game, and Joakim Noah picked Lebron's pocket. I love the heart of the Bulls and the intensity of Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler on defense. I must also give point guard D.J. Augustin alot of credit for the way he has played in place of injured Derrick Rose. Yesterday the Chicago Bulls defeated the Miami Heat in overtime 95-88. Drafted out of the University of Texas, point guard D.J. Augustin lead the way with 22 points, 2 assists, 8 of 13 shooting from the field and 4 of 6 from three point land. Joakim Noah scored 20 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 blocks. Noah shot 9 of 16 from the field. Jimmy Butler scored 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 steals. Kirk Hinrich added 11 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds. I at first was thinking that it would be only the Heat and the Pacers contending for an NBA championship, but now I'm starting to believe you have to consider Chicago in the conversation as well. Do you agree or disagree with me on that? Why or why not? For the Miami Heat Dwyane Wade lead the way with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Lebron James scored 17 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals and shot 8 of 23 from the field. Chris Bosh added 15 points and 5 rebounds on 6 of 10 shooting. Do you think teams have figured out what Lebron is going to do every game? Who or what would you blame for Lebron's shooting struggles? Send me your thoughts on this. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. If you love Derrick Rose or Lebron James, I encourage you to visit their pages on my blog.
